It's 11pm and I SHOULD be in bed but Lord knows this is the quiet time! I'm wasted, wrecked, shattered. I feel I've been going all day and have nothing to show for it. Hokeys temperature kicked in at about 8pm I think. Don't know what it was but 'burning' would aptly describe it. He always sweats up until about midnight then starts to cool down but tonight there was no sweat, just burning. By the time I found a thermometer an hour later he'd had some panadol and a cool drink, shirt undone and listened to a story, it was 38.5. I checked just now and he's cooled right down. I will sleep with them again tonight. I slept there last night, mostly because there was no doona cover on our bed (after Tony stripped Hokey's shatty night pants off on the w/e and got it everywhere he didn't put another cover on and I certainlky couldn't be arsed to do it). It was sooo cold, even with electric blanket. My left side is frozen from the onset of the cool weather until it warms up at the end of the year.
I'll have to get off here, freezing and the cold (and tiredness) makes me yawn so I can't type with my eyes shut in a yawn. I'm starting to get a feel for how Aunty Wynn's felt all these years with a fused hip. I think that's what's happening with me and the pain is brutal, but alas I'm not quite 40 so had better get used to it!
Oh, R.I.P. dear old Swing :o( can't get metal like that anymore. Flatout getting metal at all in anything these days.
Well, I can't go on any longer, my whol body feels like it's yawning and I couldn't bother fixing typo's. G'night and loive to all, xxx

Greetings All,
Lovely to read and hear from everybody. Have been wanting to write all week, but work or leisure pursuits have kept me busy!!
Sara you keep writing! love to hear from you.
Unfortunately, I have some sad news for all the cousins with whom I grew up with! The swing - I mean THE swing that we used to play on and have 'concerts' showing our acrobatics (aka somersaults) - and yes, see how high we could make the pillow fly out from under us - it has had its time! At Easter, the swing was taken from Mum and Dads and placed where all old swings go - in the rust heap at the metal recyclers! Yes, it lasted that long(40 odd years). When we moved to Lismore, it went to Brisbane to my cousins, then when they left Brisbane, it went back to Dads for the grandchildren. Several coats of paint later ( Dad went very trendy and painted it very bold bright colours, lasted a good few years, then the rust set in, fortunately after Grace (the youngest grandchild) was old enough to go without the swing.I was only reminded of it when Sara mentioned it, and that triggered me to report. Oh what fun we had!
Went to see Aunty Wyn again yesterday, she was having a good day, so all was well. we went to visit her on Sunday, but she was out at Michelle's. Michelle's grandson was 7, Aunty Wyn said she had a nice time. Was disapointed for her having missed Mum and Dad, but will make sure she is there next time.
Mum and Dad were in Grafton for the weekend, Masonic Lodge was 100 in Grafton. They had a great time - and mum did not need to shop for a new outfit (as she informed me) - she already had one!
Jane and Patrick had a brilliant time in Thailand, and as always when you get back from over seas, you plan the next one! We will wait and see if it comes off.
Stewart struggling a bit - no rain in Brisbane does not make it easy for a landscape gardner. Every time he goes on holidays anywhere, always rains, but not in Brisbane. Am sure it will rain next weekend - when we go up for the long weekend. A friend and Ronny share birth dates, so we are making a weekend of it.The four of us - a bit 'cute' as both couples are great friends - are going to the races in Brisbane on the Saturday. ( Borrowing one of Marg's hats - she wears them to church on Sundays, and she has a great collection, so will find an outfit to match the hat!)On the Sunday there is a Cheese and Wine festival, so will probably indulge again! Somewhere in all of that, we will catch up with Stewart.
In for a quiet weekend this weekend - hopfully. Will try to get on more often, but it is not because I do not want to! Love to read from everyone.

Hi again, she's asleep so getting a quickie in. Tony just picked up Hokey, school called me as he was running a temp', lethargic, pastey looking and runny nose. He just trotted in "Mummyyyy" big hug and is now watching the UpsideDown Show (Umbilicle Brothers) on tele. Loves the show, all the kids do and they learn from it too.
Aunt' Mo', I felt awful as I was just 'blowing off' at what Jacob said. He's just a teen' and has no interest in the adult stuff, in a couple of years. He has his own site where he and his mates and maybe even some of the cousins stay in touch with each other. Please don't take anything I say too seriously, like I say, I'm just blowing off as I don't have anyone else who'll listen to me and on the computer I can yabber on uninterupted but on the same token, have to amend my mistakes afterwards. Maybe I should think a bit more before I speak but I write as I think and it surprises me anyone is even able to decipher or make sense of what I'm saying. Perhaps no-one does and everyone is just humoring me.....
Aunty Kell talking of dementia, here's one for you. Tuesday night I went to make up baby formula and had to open a new tin. That was ok, there's one in the cupboard. I went to the cupboard but the cupboard was bare so this old woman, in jammies and beanie with small child in tow went to the supermarket to buy some formula. A grocery order later I was going through the checkout and there weren't enough funds in Tony's account. I used both our cards to get the groceries but he was going off at me for "spending all the time", my only spending being the darned groceries which I do myself to be sure a whole lot of junk food isn't bought. The dementia point being, I was going off about "there WAS a NEW upopened tin in the cupboard". Next morning I found the aformentioned tin in the next cupboard underneath the sink. I was fuming as I knew I hadn't moved it. Tony was adamant he hadn't moved it and tried suggesting 'nanny' might've moved it which I lept on because nanny had been gone a week and a half but the formula was in the correct cupboard on Monday night but gone on Tuesday. I honestly though I was going mad. I think I'll have to paste my receipts to the fridge and cross off items as they're used. ALL that mind you after I'd spent the WHOLE DAY on the computer doing his work. I was peeved but the pressure (blood!) is going down so all's cooling off.
I did get dressed. Have on a beautifully warm woolen poncho Aunty Cook knitted some 30yrs ago. Mum has kept it preserved well, doesn't even smell of napthalene flakes. So cosey.
Have hung the remaining sheets and carried other washing to the bedroom to put away. Did have grand intentions of ironing as the women at playgroup iron their kids clothes. I decided against that plan after 1/2 dozen items as it's too fiddly. That's why I buy 'wash n' wear', eliminates all that ironing business.

I asked him if he wanted ants and cockroaches crawling all over him while he watches tele. Stupid question, he chose the less arguementative response, "yes". I asked for it!

And!!!!! HOW MUCH RAIN???? I haven't called John, dont want to wake him if he is asleep, but he would just say "a fair bit" !! I want to be there to see my country with green grass, and here the trees say "At last!" I hope they have drunk (is that a word?) thier fill and can sprout some more leaves.
Jess, is Peter still with the same company, or has he gone back to carpentry? You said he was or is out Bre way. Also, is there water in the river? And did the big trees along the river ever get thier leaves to grow again? The cockies had stripped them when we went on the paddle boat, remember? Please answer!!!!!

The boys poured the cement floor in the curling rink end of the sports complex to day. Had a good crew, about 40 in all. We (the women) prepared lunch for them. Hard work , about 115 yards of cement. All done electrically, of course. Gone are the days of hand screeding and trowelling for big jobs. Bill came home at about 5-30, but has been back once and is going again before bed. He's relaxing in a tub of hot water now.
Jess, when you have time, would you (or Missa)go and teach John to use the digital camera? He says he cant get a photo, and I wonder if he thinks it prints a snap out?

Mornin', still in my jammies, not rushing to dress b/c I dn't plan on going anywhere. Tony has taken Hokey to pre-school. He's over whatever he picked up there last week but Angelina's had it, vomiting all day yesterday. Seems ok now but I had it through the night. I heard Tony up at 1am and got up to check on him as his BSL reading was too high to be read last night, even though he felt ok. About an hour after insulin it came down to 31.5. At 1am he was having a 'sweet' snack. I just shook my head and tuned to go back to bed when he bumped me intentionally as he walked past. I went crook and he says "why? what's the matter now?" I told him I had whatever the kids had and turned on my heal to head to the bathroom. "Uh" was all I got. No room for me to be sick in this house. Ticks me off. Meg phoned me earlier in the eve' when she had a moment and went crook saying he was a "@#$&%*! foolish idiot. Don't I know it but getting through the reality of the illness to him is like pushing a square peg through a round hole. It just aint goin' in! He infuriates me and thinks he'll just 'die', not considering the reality of amputations or even dialasys like his own father.
Anyway, I could rant on for ages but won't. Aunty Kell, I was just wondering in my own sick sense of humour if perhaps I may be suffering the dementia too, or perhaps it's Tony...... Just plain mad I think.

RAIN!!!
just a quick hello!
it rained out here actually we had a good storm from about 5 to 7 last night... was great to see... hoping to see more rain over the winter months, should be enough to get us through next summer.
iam still knee deep with assessments, getting a lil sick of them... but i quess i have to do them, wont get my certificate if i dont.
Melissa and kell are well, mums loving work and Dad is out towards bre somewhere....

Dementia NOT good.
G'day all,
I don't know when I was last "on," but seems a couple of weeks. In my demented state, I thought Lin, that you gave us a new address. I tried Yahoo & Google, then asked Mo, What IS the new address?? Cut a long story short, I was remembering 'Flickr", but thinking "Blog". Mo put me on the right track.
No news of note, the usual church, Credit Union, Lions, church garden, fixing Peter"s mistakes, VERY time consuming. He
hides everything, then I have to TRY to get him to find whatever it is needed at any given time. Today, it was to try & get
land title to a property he sold April '06. He paid the electricity bill for the whole year, & did not know it. Now, I'm trying to get his money back. That is just one of the many things that crop up on a regular basis. The Land Title is to propve that he did infact sell the property.
On the weekend I told him he would have to sell his last rental property. He was shocked that I would even suggest such a thing. After all, he is only 85, has Alzheimers, so why WOULD he want to sell? He informed me that he was going to keep it for AT LEAST ANOTHER FIVE YEARS. I said if he didn't, I would. NO WAY. Our lawyer will be in town next week, but we will be in Calgary from 2nd, to 7th., to help the childa with their gardens, so will miss him. I just want him to explain (AGAIN) what "power of atterony" means, & that I can sell. Anyway, I left a message with a real estete agent that I want to sell. It will be a big fight, but I'm tired of getting things done, then lying about it. Every few days. For the past few years. Enough is enough. Further more, I have had to cash in bonds to pay for the nearly $20,000.00 worth of clean up, repairs, new floors, painting, one complete bathroom overhaul. Everything, from the ceiling to the tub, sink, toilet etc. I've had enough, & it has all had to be done secretly, just to preserve my peace of mind. I would take the mobile (cell here) out to the garage, & ring the 2 chaps who were doing all my work. They couldn't ring here, so I had to be in touch on a regular basis. Somewhat
"cloak & Dagger"ish, but that is the only way to preserve sanity. His latest "habit" is making the most annoying whistleing
noises, every few seconds. Grunting when he is not whistling. I don't know how he does it, somehow draws air through his lips. When you hear that I am in a mental institution, you will know why. The other (frequent) noise is a "clapping" of his tongue. All extremely annoying, & VERY, VERY constant. Can't wait till you get here in June Han, so I can leave you & Bill here.
Peter was always a very stubborn person, but now, it is SO much worse, as he has no idea of where he is going, & what he is putting the childa & myself through. Further more, he certainly doesn't care. O.K. I've got it off my chest. Thanks.
It REALLY is great to hear from everyone. Good that Toni Lee finally made it. (Don't you have childa any more???) Good too, to have Cec write. Good luck with Cookie Lin. It would be fantastic to get her going. You can get REALLY cheap computers from
companies that have replaced all their old ones. Lots of outlets. She would only need one where she could write. Nice that "Trish "blogged on" too! Even occasionally , it would be great to have everyone connected. I would probably be the tardiest of all, but I DO love to read your contributions, so the least you can do, is keep an old (and demented, getting worse) lady happy.
I can't go back & read all the past postings, so can't remember the ?? However, re: my trip. Steve & Jo booked it, & I am VERY grateful. I have no special plans, just have to be in Sydney Oct 27th & 28th. Before that, & after, I would like to be able to touch base with everyone, the best way possible, as it is only 31 days I think. I would LOVE to go to Cowra with you Bernice, but I don't arrive till 21. That way, I could see a friend in Cowra, who would take me to Canberra or Crookwell. Anyway, I would like to get to Wagga, time permitting, then Canberra, Crookwell, Mrs. June, Toni Lee. Cec & Ray. Cookie, Lisa,Steve, Wyn, Wendy & Len, Stew, Paula. And of Course, Johnno. It would be perfect if he could get to Wendys' or ??? Just to save time.
Would see Sara before the reunion. Also Wendys' girls, & Ken & Bernice. If anyone can think of a better plan, I am VERY open to suggestions. Kate is going to have Peter down there, so that is a big worry taken care of. He will buck, but I'm
afraid it is about "me" this time, not him. He is not used to that. I am hoping Raelee can get to Naths' or even closer, will have to e-mail her. Cecs' girls are in Wagga, so would be good to see them, first time in many, many years. Bourke would be out, just because of the time involved, so far for just a couple of folk. If anyone is talking to Johnno, see what the chances of him meeting somewhere would be. I am getting a bit excited, as it is only a couple of months now. I am looking forward to WARM WEATHER.
Jo sent a whole lot of photos, (Negatives) of Talyn yeaserday, & asked me to choose the ones I want. Will take them with me.
There are some lovely shots, & of course, there is one of her feet! She is very cute.
Think I've rambled on enough. I have to get the church garden done before going to Calgary. Has been too cold & too wet to do much. it's very green now, trees & plants all in full bloom, but we are still waiting for warmth.
PLEASE write often, & thanks Sara, you & Lin are the most faithful. I'll be waiting for suggestions re: meeting places etc.

Good morning from beautiful, wet Southern Manitoba. I could hardly believe it when I got up this am to more rain! Wish I could send it to Bourke!
No news. We are busy with meetings, volunteering, etc. Nothing of interest to you! I am going out to vac. the car and "do" the garage...hasn't been swept since autumn, and you can tell! We leave for Portage at 3pm....Bill has a meeting and I go for company...11/2 hrs. drive.....you notice I give time, not Km"s? I cant remember Km's!! Sarie, At least you are sending messages. I bet I check the blog 6 to 10 times daily, hoping for a note from somebody! It feels so close, when you get several notes at one time.

Waiting, waiting....
Uploading Ute pictures now, taking forever. Once they're on I guess I pay for the privelidge and then we wait for the highest bidder.
Angelina's just woken up, slept about 3hrs at least. Amazing. She DID have a rough night. They have both been a bit off. Hokey vomited in his sleep on Friday night then Sunday night slept with us and I put "pull-up's" on him, 'just in case'. He coughed all night and at 2 or 3am Tony got up and was pulling Hokeys pants off him, saying "you're all wet". Hokey half asleep was protesting saying "Noooo, pooo". By the time I woke enough to realise what was going on Tony had pulled the pull-ups off and had himself, Hokey and his half of the bed covered in very sloppy (sorry but I like to get discriptive) poo.
An hour later the bed was changed, Hokey, Tony and I were all cleaned down Tony had made us both a cuppa to sleep on. Hokey was back to sleep, still in our bed. He seems fine now, has been driving me mental repeating everything I say. I was wondering where he'd picked up that little trick when I heard him laughing in the lounge. He was watching the Umbilicle Brothers on THE UPSIDE DOWN SHOW and the puppet was repeating everything they were saying. Noooowwwww I get it. I had a quiet laugh to myself too.
Have written a list of things I'm supposed to get done today. It's 1:46pm and of the 8 chores I have listed I've done 1, ebay! Now that Tony's home (very crook and washed out Aunt Mo', WON'T do as he's supposed to) and madam is awake so I will go hang and bring in washing then look for my portable cd player as it has a disc in it I want to load onto the mp3.
All uploaded but now Tony's in bed and I need to put up a detailed description of what 'can't' be seen in the photos so will have to wait some more. Driving me mental. Will go before I bore someone to death, ;o)

Lin, which pics did I load up onto fliker? I only see some reunion ones there but then I'm flatout remembering what I did last night let alone last time I logged on .... hmm, just had something to say but it's gone now. Dementia really is kicking in early, I can barely wait to see what card big girl (Meg) gets me for my next b/d, the big 40. She is probably keeping an eye out if she hasn't already found one. I got her a beauty this year, forget what it was but know it was a cracker. I'm the 3rd youngest grandchild, only Paula and Michael after me then the Great Grandkids will be moving up. Crikeys time flys, or is that 'flies'? Lisa?
Please forgive my "going on" as this is my only adult interaction I have unless I leave the house and then it's just 'shopping' so not really enjoying other adult company. Except Playgroup of course but that comes at a price, at least 15 other screaming kids and then the only 'talk' has to be done at a slight yell.
Actually, the only reason I'm on today is because Tony wants me to put the Utility on ebay. He said he'll be home soon so I'll wait for him before I try to put details up. I'll need VIN, 1st time rego'd etc etc etc. I have had a cafe'latte', in relative peace. Angelina is still asleep and Giancarlo is suspiciously quiet in the loungeroom. He's probably in the bedroom poking at her to wake up. It's really REALLY quiet but I daren't go in until I do hear a noise.
Have 3 loads of washing to put out and 3 to get in, one of them has been on the patio line for about a week. Finally potted the remaining plants I picked up on the w/e. A black agapantha and baby white agapantha and two 'stepables' for between the cracks in the concrete. Potted them to get them going before I kill off weeds in the cracks. I always hated agapanthas b/c I thought they only came in purple, which the school I went to in Qld was covered with and since for the first term I had a severe case of the 'homesickness' I associated all the things around the school with being away from mum. I got over it from second term but have only now started to even bother looking at the bulbs and when I saw the black ones I just HAD to get it.
Hokey is here, "exhausted" he says. It's tough being 3 going on 4!

Morning all....7am here. Just read a note from Kell, she cant get into the blog and wondered about a new password, so thought I would try. No news. Bill is still asleep, I'm waiting for coffee to drip through. The sun is out ( been up for an hour, so it is very bright) the first time in days. I'll look to see if we had frost.
The blossoms are off my apple tree, so the wind is down, too. We have a walkathon this afternoon in aid of our complex. Bill is walking, I am not, had a really bad diabetic day yesterday and I am drained now. Getting old is not for sissies !

It's 1648hrs and I seem to have the time (sacrificing the things I should be doing) to get back on here. Tony just walked in the door as I'm typing. They weren't able to pickup the truck as Dave didn't take the blokes mobile number with him and they waited several hours for him to show but he didn't show. Crikey though, Tony's on ANOTHER roll since he's seen what cars are going for on ebay, and in crap condition, nothing compared to what he's done with the Kingswood. An old GTO 'look alike' selling for 23K, in crap condition. We will wash and pose the ute tomorrow and put it up on ebay, see how we go. I know Tony can do it, he alwaysd does, just needs the right support.
I decided to go to Gardens R' Us while they were away and spent money I don't own. Bought a Wisteria, Jasmine, couple of ground covers and a Geisha plant and Black Agapantha. $111- but I hope I can grow them as I like plants but not good at caring for them so had to find hardy plants. I will get natives next time. I don't want to attract too many birds as there's too many cats here but the natives are 'no' maintenance so I like them. Typical though, as soon as I got there Tony phoned for me to logon to the net. Ange' and I were having a very plesent time but had to come hom to try to find this sellers mobile #.
I've fed Angelina and just had my dinner, 2mg xanax abd a beer. Vino l8r on Lisa, reds in winter, whites in spring.
Must go see Nonna tomorrow. Yes, I'm talking to them. Fed up with the crap they pile on us so best to just maintain a balance and Tony can make an appearance once in a while.
Aunt' Mo', I know the feelinfg of typing one handed, I'm more proffweciant at it noew but tiredness dulls my dexterity so please forgive the typo's.
Got o go, things to look for and my spaghetti mind is not keeping up or making endds meet so ciao for now and love to all. Aunt' Mo', if you're talking with mum please try to push her to book her eye appointment in Dubbo SOON while the weather is still cool so I can take kids out to Johnno's for a few days. I'll TRY to get Tony in to Andrew Moreton for a referal back to Sydney and perhaps get his mitral valve replaced. Gotta go to the country for service. Drives me nuts!
Greg arrived couple of hours ago, at store getting ingredients for dinner he's cooking. His dogs are driving mine nuts!
Better go, seems everyone else is doing 'family' stuff and I'm at home in front of my pet dinosour. Oh well, we'll upgrade when Tony makes his million!

Mum stayed here last Thursday night, she had just got back from Wendy's looks well. Jake and Jarrod played footy today (AFL) didn't win but had a good game anyway. Yo, yes Lin, that's Aunty Cook and Uncle Ross. The title I had on it was the ZZ Top song, "She's got legs". No worries, I'll scan it then save to the SD card. I will send you the original. I have others but have to find them. Once when Nan was sorting through her photo's she gave me a little tin box, with flip lid and two white kittens on the front, full of pics and that was one of them.

Baby is, or was asleep. Went down at 10 to 11 I think, or maybe it was 10 to 10. I don't know but Tony and Hokey have not long walked out the door to go pick up a truck for Dave, the bloke Tony works for. Of course they left making a racket so she's bound to wake soon if she isn't already woken.
Each time Tony walked out the front Bruce was there. I'd told him he climbed over the gate but he wouldn't have it, "must be a hole somewhere" but I was sitting on the front steps when he first went over and heard him climbing it. He kept bringing him back through the house saying "b*@#%y Brucie, I'll fix you up later"! Hope not because he's supposed to finish the utility this afternoon then take it to the yard to sell tomorrow. Mind you the way Gizmo is whinging out there now I'd say Brucie's gone over the fence again. Better go find him before he finds a cat. The neighbours have only just started talking to us since he terminated a few strays when we moved in about 20 months ago!

I have been out looking at more computer equipment today, the cost of it is scary. So am waiting to discuss it with Bill, I want one that has 2g of ram I need lots for the big graphic programs. The laptop is just to slow. I added an extra ram to it but still not that great.
I had a reply from the Gold vost Council re senior computer classes so will look into it so when I visit I will go with mum and Danny. I think the way around it is to say I want Danny to do it.
Off to the opening of the new Canberra Galssworks Big deal for the Art comunity so better scub up and put the face on.

Cleaning lady is here. Maria's son is getting married this w/e so I have a fill-in, Hitami, oriental lady, very nice.
Aunt Mona I am STILL trying to use these harnesses, the sling I can sort of get her in now but she's leaning right out and my hand is not free. The other one has me stumped. I saw it in a TARGET catalogue but don't seem to be able to adjust it the same. I will keep on trying nonetheless.
I called Johnno last night and he said it was ok for the girls to go over and clean up a bit before we come out. Doesn't bother me but drives mum mental, you know it Lin'! Jess, would you mind organising that for me when I get mum organised to get to the Dr in Dubbo? I'd really appreciate it and I know mum would.....
Lin I know EXACTLY what you mean about those 'in the know' picking a show to pieces. Yes, I do it a bit but Tony is notorious. I have to sit through:- American Chopper, American Hotrod, Greatest Biker Build-off, Overhaulin', Rides and any other motor type show on discovery channel. Bloody foxtel! He lays there saying things like "look at this bunch of morons" and "useless bloody idiots" and "all they had to do was ....." and "only in America" etc etc etc. I like Animal Planet and Mega Machines/Structures, any surgical procedures and anything 'Technology'. I love the baby ones, seems so much easier when someone else is doing the pushing and how they EVER manage to just 'breath' through a contraction will always have me stumped. The nurse was trying to put a wet cloth on me but I was throwing it away and tearing my gown off, thrashing my head from side to side. They make it look so easy but I held NOTHING back, I didn't scream but I sure as hell felt like it but only to tell the nurse to "shut up" as I knew damned well I had to push, I certainly didn't need someone chanting "push, push" in my ear. Poor Tony was so worn out afterwards he went home and stayed there. I called him in from work at 4 when they induced me and had her at 6:26 and thought he'd go home, shower and come back but nope. Probably just as well b/c I didn't see her until a couple of hours after and then only for 5minutes. But yeah, I love to watch the other women push! I have never seen 'House', only the commercials for it and he looks 'hung over' and grumpy. I must check it out.
Just tried Angel' in this mornings fish fingers. Not interested, nor in her veges nor jelly. Has a bit of a snotty nose so probably not feeling like eating.
Have to go change Hokeys HotWheels slippers after lady leaves, size 11 too small!

Ooookaaaayyyy, let's try again!
On the pc now, pardon my lingo but it's a pain in the hole swapping from one to the other. My mp3 Gigabeat is hooked up to the laptop and all its software is on the laptop and that accesses 'Gracenote' on the internet. Gracenote is a site that has details of most recorded music. When I say "most" that's literally what it has. I only have a few cd's that Gracenote don't have details on and I suspect some of them, hypnosis stuff has been plagerised as the content is very similar to some hypnotics which I purchased from U.S.!
Anyway I'm on the dinosour. Lin, what's doing with the programming? 'BOLDING or ITALICS' are coming upo as script. I'm assuming it will convert once my session is posted. Also cannot edit the picture info. It's not loading picture names, blah blah blah, yadda yadda yadda. You've really piqued (?? spelling again) and I'm itching to get back on and learn more about the long lost computer side of my life. I don't remember the pic of Nan that you're referring to but I did have the dress somewhere, if it's the same one. I asked Johnno for it after Nan passed. It was a green one anyway but of a nylon type material, not cotton.
Called Johnno tonight. He is well, has a new girl, 'Jill'. God bless him I think of him always and wish it weren't so far to go home. To think I used to do these trips after night shifts or evening shifts, all of us did, Meg, Greg, Mark and I. But now I'm getting a bit long in the tooth for str8 stretches like that. Jess' is still young enough to do it, there'll come a day....;o) I remember driving Bourke to Sydney in 9hrs. Stopped only for fuel and 140km/hr most of the way. Young and stupid! I also remember going home from Tamworth with Greg and one of his army buddies and I just lay down on the back seat and prayed to get home alive. Obviously the good Lord pulled through for me. When Greg and I went to Darwin we left Bourke 1700hrs on Friday and reached Darwin approx' 1600hrs Sunday. We stopped at some truck stop in the miuddle of nowhere for a shower Saturday morning and ended up pulling over about midnight at a little place past the 'three ways' in the territory because I couldn't keep my eyes open any longer and was all over the road like a wild pig. We rolled the swags out on the side of the road and the dogs got in with Greg and we camped for 7hrs. That was a long and very eventful couple of weeks.
Lenice, my last memory of you is you sitting on the loungeroom floor of your parents in Wagga and Aunty June sitting on the sofa leaning accross saying "Lennn...EECE" to make you laugh. I don't think you'd've been much older than my little one is now. Or maybe that was "TheRESE". My memory fails me, it's been so many years since I've seen you kids but how about telling your old Aunt to get on here for a chat. You know I mean Toni Lee?
It WAS the MacDonalds rubbish toys Hokey put in the heater. He and babe are asleep. Tony is, you guessed it, watching a John Wayne movie. FOX Classics are celebrating 100yrs of John Wayne. Feels like it's taking 100 years!
I've had my piece of chilli chocci and a glass of Lambrusco so am savouring the mellow warmth. Have to go nigh nigh's soon.

Oh, the pic of the High Tea, Janes headware by Margie P, I do believe it was a tea towel, just going by the ends of it. Remember the swing and how we used to go real high then stand up and let the pillow we were sitting on fly out behind us? Beats Gameboys and Play Stations hands down. Think I already mentioned that way back in the beginning? Just humour me and go along with it... ;o)
That's right, the other day when Itook the kids to Big Dub'. As I was loading up to come home a lady drove out of the carpark and a box fell off the roof of her car. I cooee'd and whistled out to her, as did several other shoppers but she had her nose in the air and drove on. It was from the post office so I looked up her address and took it around to her unit in a pokey little back street in Croydon Park, fit for festiva's and mazda 121's but not much else. Hers was a pissy little junkbox so suited the cramped streets. I found the unit, nice enough little joint, neat and clean. Hokey had a fit when I stepped out of the car to put this box inside so I let him out (having real 'seperation anxiety' attacks) and asked him to take the box up to the door and leave it. Another fit persued as he insisted I go up with him. I had Angelina in the car parked at the door blocking the driveway so I said I'd watch him. He screamed and carried on but eventually put the box at the womans door. As I was reversing out of the cramped little driveway into the side of vthe cul'de'sac the lady was driving up too. She looked very annoyed that I was taking up space. In my haste I reversed out and all looked clear until CRUNCH! I'd backed into the corner of a trayback utility, as you do. The woman saw it but just drove on in her driveway. I thought "stuff you, ignorant cow" and followed her in, a bit of 'disgruntled good citizen' broiling up inside of me. She fussed about at her car, seeing that I was waiting on her and I ended up calling out to her. She came over and I explained about her parcel. She shrugged it off as if she couldn't be arsed either way and I guess THAT was the icing on my cake that day. It was a real corker.
This week not much better, mum's gone but so far I'm staying on top of things. Still have to put the wqashing through, do the dishes and the milton & formula so my night's not over yet.
Yesterday was Playgroup, held in a hall behind Earlwood Anglican church. I enjoy going there and make the effort for the sake of us all but fair bloody dinkum it's two hours of self induced torture. Poor Brooke, she co-ordin8s the group, had to call me over 3, or maybe it was 4 times to riegn Hokey in. Twice it was her children he was rough with, another time he trod on a little boys head, as he does. Luckilly his mum saw what happened and said it was an accident. I'm a stickler for being on time but am ALWAYS l8 for playgroup, 0930 is just too early for me to feed and dress kids and myse4lf. I take a little time for myself b/c make-upand dressing tidy are my treats and if I'm REAL lucky a capuccino while I'm out. Missed that the last few times and I'm champing at the bitt for my latte' or 'cino.
Hokey had preschool today and again 2morrow so I will duck out 2mrw 4 a cuppa. Checked out Big Dub at Rockdale and incomparrison to Campsie it's like going from Best & Less to David Jones (Oh how I miss my DJ spree's)!
Aunt Mo', it must be lovely to have the wee doggie to care for. I can hear Boo Boo (Bianca) barking downstairs. She must've ducked out for a pee and one of the other dogs have snavelled her bed. She'll stand there and yap until they get jack of her. Bruce does it too but he starts around 0500hrs. Just one "WOOF" followed up by another and another and so on until the household starts to move. He's still my loyal little mate though, sneaks inside when he can and searches me out. I remember when I got him and was training him he was like a cattle dog and stayed at my heals, moving from my front foot to the other front foot. He was amazing.
I put Hokeys name down at a catholic school but he will only get immediate placement if he is baptised catholic so I will enquire tomorrow and see if I can get him done on Saturday. I'm not catholic but Mark & Di had Jett done catholic but they aren't of the denomination. We'll see when I go chat up the old priest tomorrow. The difference with the catholic schools are the class sizes and more attention per child, PLUS the discipline. Lord knows my boy needs it but I can just imagine the performance he'll give when an old geezer in a dress tries to put water on his head. He screams "NOOOOOO, GET OFF ME" so I'll have my video camera ready if we get it done!

That's right, the other day when Itook the kids to Big Dub'. As I was loading up to come home a lady drove out of the carpark and a box fell off the roof of her car. I cooee'd and whistled out to her, as did several other shoppers but she had her nose in the air and drove on. It was from the post office so I looked up her address and took it around to her unit in a pokey little back street in Croydon Park, fit for festiva's and mazda 121's but not much else. Hers was a pissy little junkbox so suited the cramped streets. I found the unit, nice enough little joint, neat and clean. Hokey had a fit when I stepped out of the car to put this box inside so I let him out (having real 'seperation anxiety' attacks) and asked him to take the box up to the door and leave it. Another fit persued as he insisted I go up with him. I had Angelina in the car parked at the door blocking the driveway so I said I'd watch him. He screamed and carried on but eventually put the box at the womans door. As I was reversing out of the cramped little driveway into the side of vthe cul'de'sac the lady was driving up too. She looked very annoyed that I was taking up space. In my haste I reversed out and all looked clear until CRUNCH! I'd backed into the corner of a trayback utility, as you do. The woman saw it but just drove on in her driveway. I thought "stuff you, ignorant cow" and followed her in, a bit of 'disgruntled good citizen' broiling up inside of me. She fussed about at her car, seeing that I was waiting on her and I ended up calling out to her. She came over and I explained about her parcel. She shrugged it off as if she couldn't be arsed either way and I guess THAT was the icing on my cake that day. It was a real corker.
This week not much better, mum's gone but so far I'm staying on top of things. Still have to put the wqashing through, do the dishes and the milton & formula so my night's not over yet.
Yesterday was Playgroup, held in a hall behind Earlwood Anglican church. I enjoy going there and make the effort for the sake of us all but fair bloody dinkum it's two hours of self induced torture. Poor Brooke, she co-ordin8s the group, had to call me over 3, or maybe it was 4 times to riegn Hokey in. Twice it was her children he was rough with, another time he trod on a little boys head, as he does. Luckilly his mum saw what happened and said it was an accident. I'm a stickler for being on time but am ALWAYS l8 for playgroup, 0930 is just too early for me to feed and dress kids and myse4lf. I take a little time for myself b/c make-upand dressing tidy are my treats and if I'm REAL lucky a capuccino while I'm out. Missed that the last few times and I'm champing at the bitt for my latte' or 'cino.
Hokey had preschool today and again 2morrow so I will duck out 2mrw 4 a cuppa. Checked out Big Dub at Rockdale and incomparrison to Campsie it's like going from Best & Less to David Jones (Oh how I miss my DJ spree's)!
Aunt Mo', it must be lovely to have the wee doggie to care for. I can hear Boo Boo (Bianca) barking downstairs. She must've ducked out for a pee and one of the other dogs have snavelled her bed. She'll stand there and yap until they get jack of her. Bruce does it too but he starts around 0500hrs. Just one "WOOF" followed up by another and another and so on until the household starts to move. He's still my loyal little mate though, sneaks inside when he can and searches me out. I remember when I got him and was training him he was like a cattle dog and stayed at my heals, moving from my front foot to the other front foot. He was amazing.
I put Hokeys name down at a catholic school but he will only get immediate placement if he is baptised catholic so I will enquire tomorrow and see if I can get him done on Saturday. I'm not catholic but Mark & Di had Jett done catholic but they aren't of the denomination. We'll see when I go chat up the old priest tomorrow. The difference with the catholic schools are the class sizes and more attention per child, PLUS the discipline. Lord knows my boy needs it but I can just imagine the performance he'll give when an old geezer in a dress tries to put water on his head. He screams "NOOOOOO, GET OFF ME" so I'll have my video camera ready if we get it done!

Stuff it. I'll just HAVE to logon daily, it's taken me all afternoon, between bathing baby, feeding and phoning to catch up from my last post! Good to hear from everyone.
Aunty Kell you are sooooo nice, I always thought I was a bit of a bushpig myself but thankyou for the compliment ;o) Great to hear you're coming over, I'll fit in with whatever everyone else decides as to where to meet. Oh, and the Macintosh, we have the BEST commercials on tv for Macintosh. They show a cute looking young guy, 'hip'and all representing a Mac and a dorky looking bloke with receding hairline and glasses (Bill Gates looking) in a brown suit representing pc's. There are many different commercials and they crack me up. Great the way they've done it. Makes me want a Mac' but your hassels have dulled my impression a little. Marks Di has and always uses Mac's. I'm a little nervous about a change but I guess it should be easy enough to adjust to.
I will put a couple of pics up that I shot this arv' and recently. Also two from back in 1990 when I went home on leave from TBH. I was soooooo chuffed because Johnno looked at me and said "mum would've been proud of you". It was a 30lb'er and I reckon dad would've been proud of me too. It was a lovely afternoon just down from the weir, we were out with Paul White and his boy Brad. I thought I'd caught a log as we putted along the river but Johnno said "quick, hang onto it, pull it in". I'd never lured before so I just pulled it up and when Johnno saw him he just pulled him into the boat. Great picture of Johnno don't ya think? (gotta draft this as I'm on the laptop and scanner is hooked up to pc so will load digitals then swap over.
Here are some pics of the utility Tony is doing up. He has a bmw up at the yard that he is working on also and just bought a merc from the wreckers for $700. He has grand plans and I'm behind him all the way as I know he can get back on top if he can stay on top of his health. The guy at the wreckers has another merc the same as the one Tony bought from him and he said Tony can have anything off it that he will need for his. The wreckers just ships them over to the middle east where they get chopped up and made into whatever transport they can. Anyway, here is the ute:-

Tony's going off b/c Hokey put something in the heater, he said "diskette thing" so I hope he meant the junk from MacDonalds and not my 3&1/4's. Many years of saved jokes on them!

Morning all. Today we have the big certification process happening at work which is a lead up to accreditation next year. Every one has worked really hard for this we are all tired and will be grateful when today is over. I questioned the fact that I usually work late shifts and how come I drew the short straw today to work a morning. The answer was "you have the gift of the gab and can get us through this"!!! Thanks to the Payton genes you will all get me through today. We will be having a staff lunchtime barbque and party to celebrate all the work we have done. Oh yes and guess who is working a late on the day? Yes me so much for the loyalty. You can bet your bottom dollar that NO one will swap me for a morning on that day. Anyway wish us all the best for today those of you who go on line today.

Hi Well not much happening here, Hannah has just gone out to a friends and will be watching the state of origin. I know mum will be going for QLD, she always has I don't know why. Danny has been over in WA for 10 days with his son Ralf, fishing of course. Mum was very happy to have the house to herself, I guess there wouldn't be a speck of dust any where in the house " it would be game" would it?
I have given up on the website designing tonight and am going to watch house, I love that show Dr House is so rude I love him. I am glad mum's not here to watch as most of you nurses, exnurses like to comment on how "that's not now it's done , or thats not real" she drives me mad. But I love her anyway.

My goodness there must have been some expensive phone bills prior to this Blog site! I checked it out a couple of weeks ago for mum (Wendy) and there wasn't that many msgs, now there are well over 80! Well done on the site, Mum thinks its great.
All is well in the Laverty family. We are celebrating Lexa's (Mum's first grandchild) 2nd birthday today, so mum and dad have ventured down south for the occasion. Great to see them both, although the weather could have been a little warmer and welcoming for them - the winds have hit, making it rather chilly (4 degrees as I was driving to work this morning...I don't like winter!) They will be here for just over a week and then heading back up north.
Not a whole lot to report, just thought I should acknowlegde the site and say that we do check it every now and then.

Just woken up from my very much needed sleep in after being away in sydney and newcastle for a week, i was buggered last night from all the travelling!
Came back to bourke and it was so green all the way in to town, which is a great site for sore eyes. the river just running again, havent seen it yet, but i'll go have a look today.
Saw uncle John before i left, he came around to tell us about his tests.
Dads in town a bit to wet to go back out just yet. His Deep Freeze down the shed with all the fish bait blew up last night, so he was busy cleaning that out this morning and is down the street trying to sort out another.. cant let the fish bait go to waste. thats dad for you!
Mums at work, Lissa is up in Alstonville on a school trip, and kell is running around as usual... now i should be off to try and finish some assessments...
Aunty meg, your looking amazing, chin up love. i miss you so much. Newy was amazing. i could definatly live there. Tell Marcus i said hi!

Unfortunately Aunty Ces was on this blog only the once when she was at our place. Have forwarded the blog on to Ces's grandson Owen, who lives near Aunty Ces, but do not think she will get on too often. we can only try.

Talking to Stewart last night, he said 'Bernice is really into the blog" - I said "We all are!" It is a brilliant way to keep in touch, makes you really feel part of the family. Everyone is so much closer. Guess we (well, some of us) were fortunate to grow up together in Bourke, but we did not realise it at the time. Bernice, see, everyone felt privileged to be invited into you caravan!
Sara - the photos - I had seen a few before, but the titles you gave them, I laughed until I had tears! I ended up in a full belly laugh, Ronny had to come in to see what was happening! Thank you so much.
Meg, why not send Aunty Tom up here for a holiday - it is warm here. We wear a jumper at night, but by day it is lovely and warm, short sleeved shirts. She can roast in sun on the back deck all day, or go and visit Aunty Wyn. Offer always open.
Aunty Wyn is doing ok. saw here on Monday, she was in a foul mood, just having a bad day. Saw her yesterday, and she said she was in a good mood, had a good day. Guess we all have our good and bad days.
Dad is doing great after surgery on his hand last week. Mum has given up chastising him for using it when he should be resting it. Said it is his fault from now on if it does not heal! ( Mind you, she does not complain when he makes breakfast for her!)
I can't hear her laughing! They are coming down to Grafton this weekend, a big Lodge do on in town. Dad will be in his tux and tails, and another excuse for mum to buy a new outfit! Now I can hear her laughing!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All well there!
Jane and Patrick due home this weekend, heard that they are having a brilliant time.

Hello all,
wonderful news notes from everyone, how good is this being able to keep up to date and in touch with family everwhere!!!
Mum is back here in Crookwell recovering from the broken rib. She has a bit of consolodation on the left lung and has started on antibiotics to keep pneumonia away. This has slowed her down a BIT but wont be long and she will be back in fine form. The cold weather is upon us so its not a good time for her as she feels the cold and didnt get out of bed until 11am the other day. Thats just not like my mum. Marcus is desperate for the snow to arrive and was up a couple of times the other night checking to see if it was snowing. It didnt snow here but we had lots of rain. The dams and tanks are full and the winter oats are looking spectacular and lush. I do have to make time for the garden and pull out all the old tomato bushes and do a bit of pruning. Soon. I will hopefully get down to the ski fields this year, we are all desperate to hit the slopes, its just so damned expensive with lift passes now $95/day/person. And the accomodation is a killer. We will just have to wait and see. Jacob is doing well in Sydney and has adjusted to his new life there. He will be home for the July holidays. Marcus is coping without his big brother being here but misses him of course. He wouldn't say so though.
Time to shake him along for school, I'm on a late shift this afternoon but will come home and get him so that he can come to work and watch the state of origion with a couple of the patients and me too of course if I get time. Just so that he isn't watching it on his own.

The weir has just a trickle over the spillway.
Was sad seeing the bare river bed.
Bob said he does not have his Fathers war medals.
His memory is of his Mother saying she had given them to Steve, years ago.

Lisa, Wyns' day sounds as though she could not have asked for more. How nice for her to have so many family around too. it is a long way for most folk to travel. You deserve a medal for all you do for Wyn. We really DO apprieciate all you do, but don't know how you fit it all into your busy schedule. Thank you SSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much for it all. His hours are different, & we were in Whitefish for a week, just home in time to unpack, then to Lethbridge for 4 days for Lions convention. Just home on Sunday, & have been "catching up" with laundry, food, shopping etc. Have to start ringing the childa tonight.
Now, for MY good news!!! The Masonic is having another re-union this year. The 50th was last year, but with the trip in June, I just couldn't leave Peter again. Well, Steve rang me last week, asked what I was doing Oct. 19 & Nov. 9th. I checked the calendar, & told him all I had marked down at the moment was the reunion, & a few other insignificant dates. "Why? Are you taking your family for a holiday??" ----"I don't mean those TWO dates, I mean the whole month!! You see, Jo & I have you booked to go to Australia on Oct. 19th!!" I'm still in shock, but I did spend that night "planning" when & where I would be able to see everyone!! I doubt that Peter will go to the facility here in town, but Kate said they will keep him there till I get back. Too much activity & noise gets to him, so Whitefish is the best place, since there is lots of room to "escape".
I havn't told Peter yet. Will bide my time. I will arrive Sydney 21st Oct., leave Sydney 21 Nov.
They could not get a flight out of Brisbane, so will have to try to see all the southerners before
the reunion, northerners after. I do hope Raelee can make it to wagga or Canberra, to save time.
Stewart may be able to meet me at Cooks' or Steves'. Will make plans as time gets closer.

I'm FINALLY"back". I have had no end of problems. Have spent a fortune on the "Mac" help line, no luck. Have had the local server on the phone so many times, I'm sure they will never answer if they see my # on their screen. Had a friend from Yellowknife, NWT, come down to visit, & it was she who FINALLY solved the problem, after several days of frustration! I think

Me again. I talked to John, 2 inches of rain in Bourke, more in some surrounding areas. If they can get a good follow up or two, things will start to look better.
John is working at the cotton gin, doing night shift 7pm to 7am. He said the best time to get him is about 7-15am. He feels fine, hasn't had any problems. He will be at the gin till it closes, likely a few months he thinks. Thats it for now, love to all. Mona

Good Morning....or afternoon, as the case may be! I'm back !! I couldn't even get the page open to read what everyone was writing!! Frustrating! However, had a friend for supper last night...he knows stuff about computers....I dont know what he did, but he got me back on line !

I am baby sitting a wee toy poodle for a few days. I dont get anythibg done, just play with her...who cares? She is soooooo fun. She is asleep on the chair here beside me, but at the slightest noise she will be on her feet and barking. She is so like Aussie Two, Meg. Smaller, but otherwise you could easily confuse them. Bill and I both have called her Aussie, and Lacey....Lacey was friends poodle, died 4 years ago. Her mum came to visit the other day, saw Rosie and was suddenly in need of another dog!! I'll be happy if they get one, I get to sit for them, too.
For all the time I have been away I dont have a lot of news. Kell is down in Montana for the week end, "doing" for Kate. Steve, Jo and the 3 are there too, and Kate is busy with work, so Kell will be chief bottle washer I think. (This is the long week-end for Empire Day....called Queens Birthday week end here.) We have had rain for the past two days, hope they aren't getting it in Montana, Kell has itchy fingers to get into the garden. We may head over to Alberta mid June I think. I was wanting July, but Bill doesn't want to drive in July, too much traffic and the cost of petrol always much higher.

Just Gotta say!!!
Just gotta say love those photo's, Hey stew your just gotta have a look. Lisa ring him and tell him.
I have just returned from Mittagong. I went to see a freinds exhibition opening and go to our favourite noodle house. But the Noodle house has closed and The chef has moved to the Bowral country club, Very posh but great food now so much noodle, but it was nice sitting looking at a very green golf course.

Kids in bed asleep, praise the Lord. I've been going nearly all day, as usual. I wanted to go to Big W to get a desk lamp because mine choked. I asked mum if she'd like to come but she wanted to wash & set her hair and do 'other' things. 'Other' being getting my washing out and in etc. I went crook at her for that but the stubborn reply was "it has to be done". I rebutted that I could do it but "oh no, it's easier for me". I knew there was no use arguing the point as she'd only get annoyed with me so I said I'd take the kids with me. I didn't want her having to fuss with them also but she insisted I leave them as it would be easier for me to "go alone and get through quicker" but I refused so dressed the wee ones and loaded up for a trip to Big W.
Ever heard of the show "Stupid STUPID man"? Well, add a 'wom' and that was me. Big Dub is dangerous territory because that is where Hokey saw the "aeroplane car", a car with wings that loaded onto the back of a truck. A 'Hot Wheels' set for $10. A couple of months ago we were in there and he honed in on the toy section, as they do, and found these car/truck combo sets. There were several different styles and one of the cars had jet engines out the side like an aeroplane. He has a dvd, Land Speed, not a childrens movie at all but it has the cars doing the land speed races on those dry lakes or whatever they are in America. He chooses the 'scene selection' and knows which ones have the most cars in the scenes. Story lines don't interest him as yet. Just the cars.
Aaaaannnywaaayyy, we ended up at the exact corner of isle that the Hot Wheels cars were on but there was only one combo set, an army style, left. Noooooo, he looked around and normally I wouldn't give in but I knew I'd be a while looking for my gear so I let him pick a car that matched a track he has at home and he carried that about with him. I prefer Matchbox as they're better quality, even though they're owned by Hot Wheels now (I think). Although if it's just the car and not tracks or accessories then they're much of a muchness.
All in all it was a long day out even though I was only gone 3hrs. After we came home I took him for a walk up the street. I walked, he rode his scooter. We went up to Canterbury Rd and across the other side of our street to 'Jacks Body Building' store. Jack is a mate of Tony's. He came out and walked Hokey across the street for me and showed me the renovations he's had done and still in progress. Certainly a lot more interesting and modern than the little 'Rocky Balboa' setup he had going there for so many years. Good on him for getting on with his life. His wife up'd and left him last year, both boys (young men) went with her. Tore Jack to pieces. He is Iranian and was very Muslim in their lifestyle even though they are Christians. NO pork and NO alcohol. His mates rallied 'round him and he seems happy as ever. Jackie is a biker though, rides his Harley to work every day. Don't know which gang he's a part of, Tony and I stay away from that side of his life but it is keeping him and keeping him happy enough so that's good for Jack. Tony's work is on the corner of the next block over (street parallel to us).
Lin did you fix up the 'date/time', 'save' and 'spell check' concerns or was that the Blogger crew?
All seems to be in order now. Hope the girls are feeling better soon. Giancarlo has a bad cough at the moment and used to be very good with the hand over the mouth and turning away etc but I don't think they back it up at school and even though it's only two days I have a rough time trying to break the bad habits he picks up there. When I told them I wanted to take him out they jumped to action and started paying him more attention with his learning. Usually comes home with bark off somewhere. Came in with a bite on his back the other day. Not insect, child. He'd been in a scuffle with two other boys. Has a real thing for tackling so there's hope for Tony and I to retire comfortably yet!
Lisa, thankyou. You are the third person to say Angelina looks like me and I take that as a real compliment because, and I AM biased but she is georgeous. Although she is not a 'red'. Her hair is dark but in some lights has a chestnut tint to it. Tony says it's the colour "every wog woman wants but she'll have it naturally". I'm hoping it does grow a chestnutish colour but daddy will have to sit at the door with a shotgun full of salt pellets when she grows up and he has said as much himself!
My pc memory is running low so having trouble scanning but have the tribal photo's ready to upload when I sort it out.

Mum is eating something, probably noodles in the kitchen. She'll take a pain killer then hit the sack. She feels she's getting a chest infection and I hate the thought of her going back South to the cold but at least if she gets sick she can be seen immediately rather than waiting upward of two hours at a medical centre and 7hrs at the hospital casualty here.
Aunt Mona I brought up the subject of her going over to you but she just edged around the idea. I told her I thought that just the thought of all those lovely, juicey red farm tomatoes should be enough to make her pack her bags but she laughed it off, longingly mind you!
Aunty Cec' if you are on here again then CONGRATULATIONS, premature I appollagise but it must be sooo exciting. I told mum and she was thrilled.
Well, it's 9:52pm and I'd best hit the sack myself as I'll be driving mum out alone in the morning. She will follow me from my place out to around Campbeltown where there's a big truck stop and she'll drive on from there. Don't freak Aunties, we'll leave early to miss the traffic, right! I've driven her in to my place (her following me) in the daytime and she did fine and she's stubborn as an ox so likes to do things her way so I'm going to get some sleep while I can. Probably wont be on here for a while after she's gone but to date I think I've written enough to last me six months of talking.
Have to go clean my water bottles before I go to bed. I told mum I thought they looked "mouldy" from my iced tea but I always rinse them. I've filled them and added some bleach to soak and sure enough the cultures started to peel away from the sides. Should be clean by now. Poor Angelina was drinking Cafe' Latte's for a day there. I noticed a grainy looking substance in her bottles after I'd made up and poured her milks. I didn't notice until she was up to her second last bottle of the batch but knew Tony had used the whiz mixer on something earlier in the morning and asked him what it was and of course it was coffee! Anyway, I didn't notice any change in her temperament or sleep. She has not much of either at the best of times!
Must go, MUST GO, MUST GO NOW!
