We today is not so cold and the sun is shining. We have had a good bit of rain but the same as everywhere not enough.
On Tuesday I went to Mittagong for the day to weave for a friend, Meg met up with me there on her way back from Ken and Bernices, and I have to say HOT MUMMA she looks great.
As I signed in I see we have 154 now 155 posts on this blog. We Paytons seem to have a lot to talk about.
I don't have Johno's Hospital No so will ring Meg. It's great to read all his news and thank god coming through well.
No other news , just same old same old!
Love to all Lin

Johnno Report!
Hi All,
Just got off the phone to Aunty Ces, who is in Dubbo with Johnno. (Thursday Night)
She said that Johnno had a bad night last night - vomiting etc. This morning they had to put a tube down his throat...., and he is fine now, in no pain. Still very cheerful. Dr said that he must breath properly - which he is not. Aunty Ces does not want to tell him as he will get cranky! So, when you speak to him next - ask him 'gently' if he is doing the breathing exercises proberly. Say that the nurse told you! Otherwise, all is well. He was walking this afternoon, all ok.
Aunty Wyn doing fine; however dealing with the cold - for the first time in Grafton in winter - it is cold!!!!
Hope all is well and healthy at your end,
Cheers,
Lisa

Just a quick note to say hi. Good old uncle Johno, he'll be right wont be long til we see him running back around bourke again.
I've moved out of home, living with one of my Best mates, loving every minute of it.
The weather is really strange out here, getting small showers of rain, and shocking wind, and its really cold!!! but i'd rather the cold than the heat so iam not complaining.
The girls are on holidays now, so there happy. Mums taking them away somewhere over the holidays to look for a formal dress for melissa. She finishes school in october.
Glad your happy Meg, but i've obviously missed a bit, so write me that email ASAP!! miss you lots girly.
must go, got to catch up on some study.
love to all

Snow
I just finished typing a saga here then lost it!!!Maybe its too early at 6:30am.All our beautiful snow is melting helped by the misty rain outside at the moment. The boys had a wonderful time in it and I am glad we had a decent fall before we leave.I wont make it to the snow fields so this was the next best thing to happen.Mum stayed the night here and has just finished having her breakfast. The boys and I are off to Sydney at some stage today, Greg is meeting us there to say farewell to Jacob who is staying in NZ with his father. Here is praying that those to can bridge the gap in their relationship and form a bond.Marcus will be coming back next Sunday.
Crookwell

Morning its 6:30am, Mum is up having breakfast and watching the news. She stayed out here last night because of the snow, its warmer here than in her house and we weren't sure if there was more snow to come and that we would get snowed in or not.The snow didn't come again but it is raining now and all the snow is melting. The cover is patchy but it wont be long and it will be all gone.At least the boys had a great day in it and built a huge snow ball.Friends arrived out here with their children yesterday at about 4pm.They said we had more snow than anyone and their kids had a wonderful time having snow ball fights and wrestling in it.

Johnno
Mo rang just as I was leaving for the church, about 7.00pm. They were at a motel, & she had found the DBH 'phone #.
I told her I would wait till Noon, Johns' time. I did, & had a good chat with him. He was in very fine spirits, said he felt "great"!!
I told him we would ring at noon (good time. he said), every two days. Mo one day, me the next.
It's just 9.50pm, & the birds are serenading outside my window. Such a pretty tune. We had a good time with Mo & Bill. Bill took Peter out every day, so we could get a few things done, & find some of his papers. Bills that weren't paid, & info. for the real estate co. to sell his last house. Peter doesn't know it, but I have listed it for sale. That "stuff" will hit the fan if it sells.
And my heavens, I PRAY that it will sell. I have spent SO much time, (& even MORE money) trying to get the place looking like someone may want to live in it!! Steve & Jo brought the babes down yesterday. We had lunch here, then out to Bever Mines
Lake for a birthday picnic!! Payton was 2 on 23rd., ( Nath. too, only she was older than2!!!) The childa LOVED the water. They all
left again about 6.30pm, as it's a 3 hour drive, kids go to bed early, & of course, Steve had work this am.
Anyway dears, I must away, as I have a few things to do before I tub, & then I think I'll get back to my book for an hour or so. Never a chance to read during the day, & I am so far behind with reading. Write soon ya-all, & tell us all your news. Love Kell

Snowing big time
A freezing good morning to all. Just spoke with Johno, he is doing well and in no pain. He said he went to theatre at 2pm yesterday and that Aunty Ces was there with him. He is in Intensive Care which is routine, has a drip up a catheter, pca (patient controlled analgesia) and a temporary colostomy bag. He is in good spirits and said that he told Sara last night that he was listening to music!!! So all is good. I told him that I would ring this afternoon to see how he is travelling.
Its snowing here in Crookwell, the boys are out in it having a grand old time. Ive packed all the ski gear,so will have to go and root around in the shed and pull bags and boxes down to find it otherwise they wont have a stitch of dry clothing. I have nearly finished my packing and only really have the bottom shed to do. The ute is loaded with junk for the tip but we wont get there today, and I have a ute load of stuff for Vinnies. Tomorrow I head to Sydney with the boys and will stay at Sara's for the night. Greg is coming down too. The boys fly out to NZ on Friday morning. Marcus is staying a week and Jacob is staying for the rest of the year. I will then go on to Lemon Tree Passage and house hunt then come back and have all the gear taken up by truck. Come back on the following weekend to babysit Rusty and Kelly, Kenny and Bernices dogs while they go on holidays. Then I will pick Marcus up from the airport on the Sunday go back to Kenny and Bernices for the night then come back to Crookwell on the Monday to finish up here. Greg will be here the weekend I am at K&B's to collect his gear. I will then LEAVE Crookwell and I cant wait.So its a very busy time and we are so looking forward to life up North.
Take care all and I will keep you posted about Johno as soon as any info comes to hand

Another week, where do they go?
It's 4:56 by the laptop clock and it's witching hour, which just so happens to last 4-5hrs! It's been dreary weather so can't go out into the land mine filled backyard. Hokey has been riding a 'high' all day and now that daddy's home he's even more high and it just doesn't stop. I only dressed about 2hrs ago, needn't have bothered. Angelina will be 1yr old in about 3 weeks. The time just flies (I think being a little 'crazy' helps)!
Mums dear little mate Frecles died last night. The poor old girl, Meg phoned me Saturday morning, she's wildly packing and told me Freccie didn't look well. She'd let her inside to the fire as she was bloated up and her breathing was laboured. We didn't want her to suffer so I said to call the vet. Meg took her in and the vet checked her over, put a IV in and I think gave her some drugs and said to leave her overnight. It was her heart failing. On Sunday the vet told Meg to give her another day in 'hospital' , "don't give up on her yet". I told Mum she'd had a good innings and it was her time. Naturally they were very upset this morning. Jacob dug a hole for her under the eucalyptus tree out the front and they put her there. She was 12yrs old, going on 13 I think.
After today trying to reign Hokey in all day, I went to feed the dogs and Bruce and Gizmo got into a fight. Bruce started it, of course. I tried to stop them by spraying with the hose but they only gave Bruce an advantage as he could get a better grip on Giz', he was fighting to kill. Struth, they must've been going a good 5 minutes and by then I was trying to pull Bruce off Giz' but his jaw was locked on and he meant business. Hokey must've finally heard the noise and came out, I'd already called Tony's mobile but he didn't pickup. I called out to Hokey to get daddy, I called several times. Eventually Tony came out and beat Brucie with a broom and he let go. Tony brought Giz' inside to clean him up and dry him off. I fed the others and was glad that Tony finally came because I couldn't let go of Bruce long enough to come in to get him because he had Giz' in a choke hold and that would've been the end. Giz' is the only part of Tony's family who always stayed by his side, poor mutt.
This mp3 is giving me grief. The support line advised to reset it to factory settings so I'm moving all the music I copied on the w/e to my external drive then will put it back on when I get the machine sorted out.
Johnno will be in the hospital now, he'll be right Aunt' Mo', he said so himself. Tony's resting befre he showers, I prefer him to get through as soon as he gets home so the kids and I can bathe but I'll run a tub now and get us through first.
Don't know when Big Girl (Meg) will be back online as she's flatout packing and will be gone in 3 weeks. Tony and I will have to get down there soon with a truck to move stuff around and out.
Hope all is well down South, up North, out West and OS. Do take care and love to one and all, Sara xxxxx

Anyone got 'good' news?
Hello, homicidal maniac here again.
Bernice I do hope your little nephew is able to mend soon. Poor little bloke, I've been thinking of him. Yes, I am working on getting mum out. I am applying for a transfer to Singleton area and having her put on the lease so she will be legit'. She hates Crookwell and it will be easy enough for her to get a train here from Singo'. I will also try Raymond Terrace area but waiting lists are longer there.
Have been trying to work out a way to get out to see Johnno but don't know how I could do it. I'd either have to go in school holidays or wait until he has completely recovered then take the kids out.
I love the rain but 3 weeks of it has left my sanity reeling. Kids are nuts from being inside always, Giancarlo wont even go outside at the moment and it's a lovely day out. I'm retransferring my music to the mp3, tedious task.
Have had the new pc a week now and the wretched thing still is not up and running. It is but I can't connect to the internet because it wont recognise the wireless modem. I phoned telstra and they are sending a Next G modem out to me so hopefully this week sometime I'll get the use of it. I'm on the laptop now, it still accepts the old modem. Just after we'd got the new one home and setup I received an email from Mark advising me of a new Mac'. Oh well, hopefully next time, if there ever IS a next time!
Meg just phoned me to let me know she'd let Frecles inside as she is not well the poor old girl. Meg thinks she will probably pass very soon, she was going to call mum to let her know so mum can go out and sit with her as she's been with mum for about 9yrs now. Freccie is about 10 or 11yrs old I think. I don't have a photo with a date on it. She's been a loyal little mate to mum and a spritely little character even in her old age. Mum will be crushed. I'm glad I'm not there, I wouldn't be able to handle it.
Baby's awake so i'd best be off. Lin I still can't get on to FLIKER, any new tricks to it?
Ciao,
Love Sara xxxxx

Hi from Canberra
Hi All
Well life just keeps on passing and I seem to watch it go by in a blurr. It has been so cold lately and I hate it. The last 2 mornings have been -5. I know thats not cold to the bods OS but to this little cold bunny it is.
Hannah enrolls in her new course on Monday Event Management. Lauren has just completed her international travel course and hopefully will have a job soon. There are a few in the pipe line.
I am always busy, working 2 jobs and doing my course doesn't leave much time for any thing else. I will put the link up to my sample page soon. I finally bought my new pc yesterday. So this morning is to clean the computer/junk room out. I can't wait to play on it.
I don't understand what is happening that Kell can't get on the blog, I use a Mac at school and PC at home and both are fine. Maybe Mona you can get on while you are there and at the Markus's and see what is happening, get those Markus kids on to let us know whats happening in Whitefish world.
Well about to ramble too, hope everyone is well and am thinking of Johno.
Love Belinda xxxx

By the ghosts, I'm a homicidal maniac. Bloody computers wont work or connect to the net. Kids growing too tall and reaching what they shouldn't. Cold, wet, stressed, tired, MOTHER!
Last night I bathed with Hokey, he sytayed in with daddy then by himself. Tony went back in to put his towel back and said to me "you didn't want that bottle of baby oil did you?" WHAAAAAAAAT!!!!!!! Pink fits were being thrown left, right and centre. I went in and the tub was full of oil. Hokey was lovely and soft. I set the babies bath up on the bath board and put her in. Had the phone headset on and talking to mum while I cleaned the bath. I turned the shower hose on to rinse the tub, cold water and the hose flew off the wall. Water spurted out hitting the shower curtain and spraying onto Angelina. She screamed, as you would in a warm tub being splashed with freezing water, I screamed, Tony ran in and took Ange' out, i kept on screaming simply because I'd lost it by then. Bit better today but have to go now b/c son is harrassing me for books I'd 'hidden' from him but he's tall enough to see now.
Aunty Cec I usually use Betty Crokers Devils Food (choccie) for my lamingtons. I always preferred the chocolate ones.

Hi from bernice
Hi All, its been awhile, Ken and I both have the flu, I ended up with bronchitis and after two lots of antibotics and a Puffer later and still have it 3 weeks on. I feel ok only very sore chest now. The cold and rain hasn't helped, we have been lucky tho as a lot of towns copped bad storms, we just had bad winds no damage. our yards are a mess with the mud and slosh and two mad dogs running thru it!
Cec, So very glad you are going to be there for John, its good of you we were worried about him being on his own, my brother-law is going to visit him for us.
We have had a tradegy in the family, My sister Donna's youngest grandchild 15 months old spilt boiling water over himself , he was flown to sydney westmead hosp and it was very dangerous there for awhile he had problems with breathing and swelling apart from 18% burns to his little body, he is now out of I.C.U in the burns unit breathing by himself and picking up nicely he will have skin graft on 15% of his burns on monday poor little baby. My sister was actually holidaying here with us at the time , so needless to say she spent most of the time in sydney. I get daily updates on him, everyone is being positive but its a long sad road for the little fellow.
Well Meg sure moves when she puts her mind to it aye!!! faster then a speeding bullet, ah well, good on her just hope it works out for you Meg, good move leaving Crookwell, Arsehole of a joint. now we only have to get Poor old Tom out and settled somewhere nice, I vote for a move up to greg, close to meg, sara and greg that way , plus not far from june and Cec.
Nice to hear from Toni-lee and Lisa as always , will be seeing you soon Lisa, looking forward to it.plus Wyn. will ring you soon Lisa.
Whats happening with kell haven't heard from her , she must have bad connections where she is?
I just had my old bourke friend (now living in the gold coast) down for a few days was nice.
I have a niece and her family coming down next week, her girl is playing rep netball down here.
We are off on our holidays sunday week can't wait, I get to relax.
Ah Well I think I will get off now as i have been on here over a hour and have to watch my times'Until i go broadband. I may get on before we go, otherwise will catch up soon, hope all are well and John picks up ok after his Op.
Love to all Bye for now Love Bernice xx

Thought it was about time I took the time to catch up with everyone and fill you in on whats happening down here in the COLD COUNTRY.Well dont fall off your chairs but here it goes. I had a mediation settlement meeting with Luke and our solicitors via phone link.Did not go well,he wanted all but the skin off my back and only because he probably couldnt sell it.So the house is to go on the market and once sold the money held in trust till settlement in court.I have resigned from work and am madly packing the house up with my dear mothers help of course. I hope to be gone from here never to return, in about 3 weeks tops. The house will be rented out until sold. I am moving to Lemon Tree Passage and starting a new life with Garry who has bought the LTP butcher shop. We take over on the 30th of this month. I had last week up there getting the feel of the shop and the customers and how things are run. I cant wait for the new challenge. A big change from nursing but I intend to do a few casual shifts here and there to keep my skills up. Garry and I had a quick look at a couple of houses but will worry about that when I get there. Marcus is excited too which is good. He has a good raport with Garry. I havnt sorted out a school for him yet and possibly Jacob. I asked Toni about Laurens school but I think it is a Catholic school and the boys are Anglican. The school bus leaves from out the front of the shop, very convenient.Sort school out tomorrow. Have also been busy changing my name back to Myers, and what an ordeal that is. I wont go through with it again, I will be Myers when I die.On a lighter note now if you have all caught your breath. We had a good covering of snow 2 nights ago, Marcus had fun on the toboggan before school riding down the hill with Woody (Kelpie)chasing him and surfing down the side of the dam wall. He tried to get the day off school but I didn't relent. Next time maybe. They didn't have much at all in town and it had all melted in there when I drove Marcus to school. Jacob is coming home for the weekend so I might do I quick trip to the slopes for the day on Saturday.Just have to see as its so expensive.
Lisa I am glad I am an inspiration to someone, havnn't had much of a chance to go walking myself with the weather being so wet cold and miserable.I do my floor exercises and fortunately havn't put on weight or lost any.I am enjoying packing away all my BIG clothes and am proud to say that the cupboard is rather bare looking.Keep up the good work, keep persisting it will pay off.
Marcus had a trip to State of Origion with the junior rugby club and loved it. His first big footy game live and his team won!!He was stoked, said he was on TV when a try was scored and he jumped up out of his seat, he was sitting behind the goal post but I missed it.
Anyway the packing wont get done sitting here so I had better get back to it.Love to all

Good morning all. A quick note , mostly to Cec. So glad you and Ray are able to go to John, Cec. Kell and I both worried, 10 days and no visitors would be a long time!I was thinking if no one could be with him when he gets home, I would go home myself, but then could not go in 2010! So I am really glad you can be there. And say Hi and Thanks to Dig from us! I will try to phone you this afternoon....morning for you, I need more details about the Health Care system, and more on Health Plans. I was hopeful about the one I found on the Net. I would like to know why it doesn't apply for John. But I want to get him reregistered anyway, he cant be without it.
We will talk about it to night.
Just talked to Frank, and he may be coming over this afternoon, and if he does, I will try to get a photo of the little girl on the site for you, Sarie. She is in the big chair here beside me, sleeping, but at the slightest sound she will be up and barking! It feels so good to have her in bed....mind you, she takes up more room than Bill and I together! We will take her home on Wed. on our way to Alberta.
It is cool here to day. I had to shut windows, she was shivering! It was sunny, but has clouded over, and thunder showers for this evening.
Kell phoned from Kates last night, hasn't been able to get on the blog. She is having trouble with her new PC.....said she went through Google to get on once!
I have to go and make some biscuits to take for Peter...does love a 'cookie' does Peter, but I wont have time to do many this trip, maybe in Sept. if we go over.
Best go. As Lisa said, when you start to ramble on, its time to get off!
Hope all are well. Talk again soon. Love to all. Moe

Cold and Dreary here
Ciao y'all, been cold here in East Lebanon today. It's 9:30pm and Praise the Lord I finally have this pc setup. Tried to do too many things at once when I was setting up and had to backyup the system before I even completed anything. Impatient. You'd think after 4yrs with my son I'd have learnt a little patience by now but alas I just can't get things done quick enough and so end up with 'half' done things all over the place. I still have software to install but it can wait 'till tomorrow.
Lisa, when I find them I will take you up on your offer. Next time I'm in icey crookwell I'll dig out the fav's.
I'm shattered and still have dishes and bottles to do so had best go get organised. Had my last drop of vino last night and was tongueing for a glass tonight but I'll stop by the bottlo' after playgroup tomorrow. Sounds lovely doesn't it?
Goodnight all,

Greeting from Sunny Grafton
Greetings family,
Aunty Ces beat me to the blog, I am proud to say! Was going to tell all that I will report to all on behalf of Aunty Ces, of Johnno's progress. Stay tuned, although my mother has already assured me that all will be good - those Payton siblings are a tough mob!
Saw Aunty Wyn today and she was looking very good. Very colour coordinated and dapper, and told her so! She looked and sounded great. Did not get to see her last week as was not around long enough.
Went to Brisbane for the long weekend - all leisure and pleasure. Races,Cheese festival, music, ferry rides along the river and lots of laughs. Returned to Grafton, three days of busy work, then off to cold and wet Sydney for HSC lectures. Thursday night we were eating out at BBQ King. It is a Chinese Restaurant in Chinatown, that serves the most amazing non western chinese food - absolutely fabulous. Anyway, we were eating and in walks Kim Beasley! Ronny had a brief chat, but I was never a fan of his.It kept us amused for the rest of the evening! Lectures were good, Sydney was cold, and it was great to get back to the wonderful winter Grafton temperature of 22 degrees today! ( Sorry to all you cold climate living rels down south, but why you do I do not know?!!!)
Sara - we have a thing at work that changes tapes to CD's. So if you have an old fav, just send it to me and I can transfer it to CD. Same goes to all.
Meg, you are my inspiration as I pound tar (i.e. attempt to run) some afternoons after work. I used to be able to get up and run of a morning - but Ronny is far too cuddly these days and I just can not seem to make it out of bed in time. No kgs have shifted, but feeling a little fitter.
Dad had some checkups - some nurses reading here - and I can not spell the things, but anyway, Dad was checked out, both ends, all good,no traces of anything! Hope that makes sense! Exciting news is that they finally bought a new car last week - only about 15 years over due. finally an auto, so mum can not harm the clutch on this one- supposedly! lets hope she does not find a way!
Anyway, you know when you have written enough when you start to ramble, so time to go.
Love to all, Lisa

Ray and I are going to leave home early on Mon 26th to be with John when he comes out of recovery..It takes us 7 hours from here.We can stay at Digs (Frazer) and will drive John home after he's discharged. We'll stay with him for two weeks or untill he tells us to go.Checked up about hosp clothing, only needs slippers so have brought a pair of ankle length uggies.Lisa is going to phone me at Digs on the night of the 26th and will go onto the blog with information regarding Johns surgery and condition. Will save alot of phone calls.Lisa would you please contact Wyn,thankyou.I won't use Dig's phone unless something unexpected occurs, so no news is good. We'll phone later from Bourke. The hospital stay is 7 to 10 days depending on recovery.
No luck with GMHBA Moe phoned them and Geelong Health, as with all Health insurances have to be a member for 12 months before a surgery claim can be lodged.Johns insurance expired in Sept 06.Was basic cover, he would have had to pay 1/2 the hosp. fees.Under medicare should be no cost including Drs and anaethetist.
Will make contact again when we are back in Wingham.
Pleased Dr Fisher is the surgeon. Cook and Dan are in Bourke now.Do hope Bob or Dan can drive to Dubbo to take John.
Love to everyone,
Ces and Ray

Sounds lovely
Aunt Mona the summer sounds lovely over there, very wet and windy here. Too cold to go out. Tony is going to hang some speakers in the kids room so I can play music at night for them. I used to play classical for Hokey when he was a babe and I'd like to keep it up. What is it they say, "music calms the wild beast"? Well it calms THIS one so it wont hurt to pass it on to my kids!
I used the 'lamington' mix but left it in the pan with a t-towel over it and in the oven until next evening when I took it out of the pan. More 'damper' dough'ish. I'll give the other one a burl next time I brave the task (next year no doubt)!
We were all up fairly early today. Tony and kids had up to 12hrs sleep each. I got in 10hrs which was ohhh sooo lovely. Only I didn't charge the mp3 yesterday so my music was sounding like a stretched casette tape. Have to setup the new pc so hopefully when I put my music back onto the mp3 it'll be a lot quicker. Has a 'dual processor'. I'm out of touch with it all so don't know the relevence of that. If Mark logs on then he maybe able to shed some light on it for me.
I can hear Hokey tearing up the loungeroom, laughing his head off. Just asked Tony to check on him because he is an absolute little terror. He leaps from the coffee table to the recliners and the swing back and hit our bedroom wall. He's broken one of them. I tire of screaming like a fishwife and leave that to Tony on the weekends.
Lyn, I can't get into the 'fliker' site. It seems to have changed. How is it done now? This baby is pulling all my books from th shelf. Gotta go. Thankyou for the birthday ecard Aunty Kell. I read it out to him.

Afternoon all. Great day here in Manitoba. So green it almost hurts your eyes to look ! And how I wish I could send some of it (along with the mosquitos, big as pidgeons!) home. Had a wee note from Markie this am. All well in England, he is busy, on his way to Moscow soon for 5 days, then home and he says things may settle. He has been very busy. I will ask him next letter to put a note on the blog.
Sarie, which recipe did you use? The old 1,2,3,4 one I have used, but not a lot, the lamington one I copied right from the book, and have used it, makes a good cake.
Check your measurements again.
I can hear a spray plane going over...it is too wet to get on the fields to spray, so more farmers are useing planes this year. After supper I am going to suggest we take a short run out to watch. Had a friend in to supper last night....he who helps me with my computer....we sat out on the deck, but the mozzies were so bad it was unpleasant. Then I remembered I had an umbrella and screen to fit over the table. So while Bill had his bath, Frank and I put the umbrella and net up.....should have done it earlier! We were able to eat outside, and sat there till about 10, it was great. So I will have it ready to go up again when Bill gets home. We love to be out, but the skeeters are so bad....every summer...and I swell up and itch with every bite, and go on itching for days after, too. Wish I had some of the ointment Cook used to have in Bourke, took the itch out of sandfly bites!
Have talked to Kell a couple of times in the last day or two. She couldn't get John on the phone and was getting worried. Finally got him. I asked John if he was worried, he says no, he is leaving that to me. Bill says that worry is in very good hands!! We are heading over to Alberta next Wed. ...get there Thurs. spend a day or two, down to Montana then home. Kell and Peter are going to Montana to morrow, home Monday. No news, I am just rambling on, so will go and tub, get food ready....the ONLY good thing about summer, BBQ's....no greasy washing up !!
Sarie, I am baby sitting the little poodle again on Sunday ( till Wednesday ) her name is Rosie, but she gets mostly Princess while she is here. What a love she is!!
Anyway, I did take a photo of her last time, but haven't tried to put it on the blog yet. Will likely have to have Frank come, but have the camera right here, so will try now. ( I know EVERYONE will want to see her !! )
Kell and I will be together when John has his surgery. Will someone please E Mail me the Dubbo Hospital's phone number? Then we can check. I dont know what time he is scheduled for, so if anyone knows or can find out, please let us know.
Time to go. Love to all. Moe.

Thank Goodness
Praise the Lord I'm not just talking to myself. I was half considering calling the psychiatrist today for a appointment but decided I'm just 'mad' anyway so didn't bother.
Aunt Mona, I couldn't get the measurements right or something went real wrong because the cake came out like a tile I could put between the concrete gaps in the driveway. I left it the 24hrs which brought it up to midnight last night, before cutting and icing etc. It was so heavy and dry I cut it up then sprayed it with canola oil and put in the micky for a minute. I made the icing really runny so it would soak in deeper and then whacked them straight into the coconut and then the container hoping to keep the moisture in. After all that I was an hour late for playgroup and they'd just finished having cake for another little boys birthday. Hokey and one parent were the only ones to have one so I took them up to Tonys work so hopefully they'll eat them.
Angelina's had a rough day today, sore throat I think. I've just given her a bottle after some neurofen and she is wide awake so she's in on my bed. I will rock her off shortly. Poor little Hokey's had it rough too. He just wants a playmate but she's too small and if Tony would get his butt into gear and make his cubby I would go out and sit in it with him. I'd love to.
In the meantime I'm wasted so will go. Great to hear from you Toni, how are you, Matt and your young'ns?
Crikey, it's 12:30, I have to get to bed, g'night xxxxx

Toni lee 13/06/07
Hi everyone, especially you Aunty Mona. I hope I'm still classed as a young one. At home from work today, have had a cold for the past couple of days lost my voice at work yesterday so thought it was time to stay at home and recuperate. (Hope the spelling is OK) All is well here. Have had plenty of rain over the last weekend the car park at work was flooded along with alot of other places so many people, houses, and businesses have been affected we still have people away from work due to the flooded river.
Had a visit from Greg & Jacob on Sunday it was great to see them they ended up staying for tea, hopefully we will get to see a bit more of them now that Greg is living up this way. Am hoping to catch up with Meg too before she heads back home.
Mum is going well she was here for lunch on Monday, Sue, (Matts mum. She now lives in raymond terrace, opposite end to Mum) drove her up we had a nice roast lunch, a bit of a chat and some chocky cake for afternoon tea. It's good having them so close now so that they can just pop up for a visit.
Anyway hope everyone is well. Will catch up again later.
Toni.

From beautiful, green, wet southern Manitoba....Greetings all!!No Sarie, you are not alone, and we look forward to your letters. Dont stop. At this time of year we are not in the house much. It is a busy time with general doings, and garden...the summer is mercifully short, (Kell will argue that!!) things grow fast....didn't I try to grow apple cuc.s one year!!! Not dry enough, not hot enough, and summer too short!! But anyway, wet days I might get to write again!
I talked to John this afternoon, and for those of you who dont know it, he is scheduled for surgery on 26th this month, in Dubbo. Will be in hospital a week to 10 days. Says he isnt worried, he's leaving that to me, and you can believe me, that worry is in good hands!!
After I talked to him I went down to the complex to Bill, told him, and he came home, cleaned up and we drove to Winkler (about an hour) to do a bit of shopping for John. Have it in the washer now, will dry it and make any alterations in the am and get it posted.
We are getting another shower of rain as I sit here. We dont need it, some of our fields are almost washed away, lot of damage to the crops.
We are going over to Alberta next week to visit. Can only be away a week, so a few days with Kell and Peter, down to Montana and the Markuses, then home via the States. Have to be back here on the Thursday. It was 32 deg. to day, 31 yesterday. I tell you, I am ready for snow!! Best go. Come on you 'youngens', let us hear from you. Love to all from Pilot Mound. Moe

No Life!
It seems I'm the only one without a life so this is like a personal diary. Giancarlo is sitting on my lap and pushing every button (of 'mine') that he can. Ange' is asleep but will no doubt wake when I boil the kettle.
I'm absolutely FURIOUS with myself as I deleted every track from my mp3 player, too rushed to get out the door to playgroup. Almost 3000 songs. I phoned Toshiba, there is no way to restore them. I need a wine!
Only 4pm and it's cooling right off here. I didn't get to bed 'till 3am last night. Made Nans cake around midnight and downloaded a pile of songs whilest doing that. Luckilly I still have THOSE on the pc!
Gotta hike, I want a cuppa BAD before missy wakes. If anyone other than myself logs on before I'm back then "Hello and how are you?" If it's me then I'll answer myself at the time. Ciao and love to all,

10 to 8pm & I'm Stuffed
No news and I'm too tired anyway to babble about my day to day stuff. Just talking with Greg, he's had Meg and Jacob for the w/e. Wild weather up there too. Got a txt from my girlfriend in Ireland. She may be coming home in September, to stay or just holiday she hasn't decided yet. I think being home in Ireland is suiting her at this time in her life. Her niece works in a sports store and is getting some sweaters for me, Irish/Italian.
It's late and I have to make Nans lamingtons yet so goodnight and hopefully I'll see you all on here again soon. Feels like I'm talking to myself, oh well, g'night, xxx

Ticked off
Good Evening one and all. Great it's raining at home Jess', wish I were there under a tin roof. I can hear it here on the patio roof, lovely. Wind has blown all 3 sails down. Blown sheets so hard on the clothesline that the line has busted. minor compared to damage and loss of life due to flooding and winds. Praise the Lord it's here all the same.
You poor little petal Jess', I can send Bruce out and he will eradicate ALL cats in the district?
I'm totally p*ssed as me eBay id has been stolen. I was warned by another user as he'd seen our ute advertised elsewhere. I notified ebay but too late. I just forwarded about 40 messages to them from the thief who is using my id so all replies got to my personal email. They've been targeting buyers of higher price items, like the cars. Offered ours as a 'second chance' but to do the transaction away from ebay. I'm scared about the whole thing. Tony has done a couple of large private jobs this week and said we'll get a new computer with all the latest security etc. I'll have to research Mac' or PC.
Poor little Hokey has driven me mad today. Had to go out, Tony was at work. Immediately Hokey startted talking about cars. I warned him (in other words i tried to bribe) if he behaved and stayed with me and NOT ask for a car I might get one for him. BIG failure, he was his usual self, running away from me, telling me to "shut up", I was livid. When we got home I put madam to bed but soon Hoke' was harrassing me again. Then Tony comes home and the poor little bloke is vying (?? spelling) for attention, Angelina is screaming because she only wants daddy and Tony is trying to talk to me, all at the same time as I'm trying to sort out this wretched eBay business. I hunted them all into the bath then bottled her up and Hokey helped himself to pasta from the fridge, cold, prefers it that way. Tony ate his lunch and I ate a chginese chive bun I bought for lunch. Had it with a glass of lambrusco and two xanax in a hot tub. I could feel my blood pressure in my ears. I went to lay down and promptly fell asleep, not long waking up to finish up the eBay business. Still got dishes to do, formula and maybe another lambrusco before bed. I HOPE to get to church in the morn', missed out last 3 or 4 weeks.
Gotta go. I hope all is well with everyone. Aunt Mona I'd love to see a pic of the puppy too. Will send old photo's by mail to whoever wants them.

What a week!
Crikey, what a quiet week it's been, 'blog' wise. I've been up to my ears doing 'stuff' so haven't had a moment to get on. I think I hear baby crying so this will be a short post too, not if I can avoid that though!
Bloody nora, gone are the days of a 'hot cuppa' and I wont reheat more than twice b/c the 'skin' on top gets too thick and wont stir in. It's 5pm and I'm just going to 'ramble' as thoughts come off the top of my head, don't have time for 'order' so good luck if anyone can make any semblance (is that a word?) of it.
Not long stepped in the door. I went out at 9:30 this morn' to go to the beautician for my long overdue waxings. Missed out last time when mum was here as that was when she broke her rib. I keep forgetting to ask her about it but she hasn't mentioned it so I guess she's ok. She phoned me yesterday with Johnno's news. I phoned him but couldn't hold back and bawled my eyes out. I'll have to call back or write and appolagise. All I can do is ask the Lord to take care of him.
I put Angelina on a mat out the front while Tony works on the ute but Hokey was harrassing her too much so I brought her in. Tony was moving the ute outside to take up to the yard as he doesn't want the buyer to be coming to our house. The driveway is so narrow and the steel bars that the gate is hung on stick out so much that he's scraped up the front left panel a bit. He was yelling and cussing about how "they don't know how to build f***ing houses in this country" etc etc etc. I reasoned, saying it was a commission house and the government has never spent money where it didn't need to. It IS a pissy little driveway and a bit skinny for the old Kingswood. He'll take the paint gun to work tomorrow and mend the damage. He's already put the next 'project' out the back. A more modern car, ford falcon something or other which fits easilly up the drive. It just needs body repair and he'll hopefully get a few K out of it too. The Kingswood finishes on Ebay tonight I think. It's up to 4K, he only paid 300 for it I think. He still has the bmw up at the yard that he's working on up there. Don't know if he's still making a convertible out of it. If he does every Leb' in the district will be after it.
Back to my appointment this morn'. I dropped Angelina at Occassional care at 10am, went to my appointment and liked my therapists hair so much that I decided to have mine done too. The hairdresser was two doors down and upstairs. I went to pick Angelina up at 12 then came back and my beautician carried Ange' upstairs for me then came down and one of the other therapists carried her pram up for me. I had my hair permed, which I'd previously resolved to never do again but the lady had done such a lovely job on May's hair and Chinese hair doesn't perm well at all, if anyone's ever taken notice. So anyway, for $35 I thought "what the hell" and I must say, it's the softest perm I've ever had. After all that I went accross the street and bought 3 pairs of long thick mens socks to wear with my boots for winter then jay-walked back again to a $1 shop for I forget what. Can't've been important. It was then time to collect Hokey so I did that and decided if I drove the car any further on empty that I would stuff the engine so I put $10 in, at $1.36 a litre it wasn't much fuel but enough to keep me out of trouble until prices cheapen on Monday. After that I went up to my fav' bottlo' for a couple of bottles of lambrusco as I knew I only had one glass left in the bottle at home. By the timer I got home Tony was in the process of moving the ute so that's where today's gone. Mind you, Tony's just been through the house with the 'orange' spray cleaner to scrub off all his greasy boot prints from the mats. Maria will be here tomorrow, praise the Lord.
I finally slept in my own bed last night but needn't have bothered as Hokey was in there about 6am'ish "mummy, mummy" trying to tell me Angelina was awake. "No she isn't" I insisted and promptly rolled over thinking to myself "why not wake your father, he's 2 feet away". I stayed asleep, all be it an 'awake' sleep. When I finally stirred it wasn't due to the noise but rather the lack of it. The place was silent. I was the only one in my bed, Angelina wasn't to be heard or seen. I got up to make a cuppa but got caught up preparing Hokeys lunch for school and Angel's for O/C that I ended up with a once reheated cuppa after they came home, from the wretched 'chippy house' (MacDonalds). I skulled my cuppa and got to work on the start of my day. It was pouring rain and has been wet all day. Glad I bought the folded gear in last night. It's been sitting under the line for two days. The wet stuff I've just sorted and put 'dry'ables' in the dryer. The rest I'll put on the patio. It STINKS out there. I want Tony to put a gate accross the bottom of the stairs to stop the dogs coming up. Absolutely bloody rancid!
Oh, I had a acrylic nail put on my right little finger too. Only wanted the one and for reasons I probably shouldn't say but stuff it, I will. Since birth Hokey has always had a snotty nose and still hasn't learnt how to 'blow' properly so it's easier to remove with a fingernail. "ooooooohh yuuuukkk" I can hear you all say but heck, it's practical and quick. I just have to make sure I have a tissue handy too!
Aunt Mona, is 'shortening' what Nan used to use 'copha'? I haven't done a test run yet so will just make up the cakes on the w/e and do the icing and coconut on Tuesday night. His birthday is Friday but I'm having his party at Playgroup so there'll be plenty of kids and all their mums will be there anyway so I wont have to 'host' as such. Besides, Hokey freaks whenever anyone sings "happy birthday" to anyone else so I'll just ask them to yell out "HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIANCARLO" and he'll be happy enough. If it's dry enough on the w/e I'll see if Tony has time to mow the lawn so I can put Hokey's soccer goal net up for him.
There is a .................. had to attend baby and forget what I was about to say, sorry. On another note though, I have a casette tape, remember those? of dads back in crookwell and am trying to track down some of the songs on it. I've repaired it so many times over the years before cd's that the paper label has come off it and I'll have to FIND the tape before I can remember all the songs on it but one of the songs that I really want to know the name and artist has the verse:
"go chase your rainbow and remember I'm your best friend,
Go tell the one you love you're free.
I'll keep in touch when I come through here now and then
and maybe somewhere there's a rainbow for me".
Does anyone know it? It's 'country' of course. Jess', your dad might know it, would you ask for me please? I've tried finding it on 'Limewire' but to no avail. 'Marie Leveau' was another one of the songs, the last on one side, also Country Bumpkin and of course others. Any ideas? I've downloaded those I can remember, amongst others but would love to know the name and artist of that song, if not the whole album.
Tony and Hokey have bathed so I'll go run a hotty for mne and hope t be in bed before midnight. I'll sleep in Hokeys bed with him tonight. That way he still gets up to go into our bed but doesn't wake me to do it. I have the mp3 plugged into my ear so will sleep through but still hear madam roll over in her sleep.
Gotta go, Aunty I'm fine, too flat out to be otherwise. Please let me know if 'shortening' is 'copha'. Thanks, Ciao to all,
Love Sara XXXXX

Ho hum
It's Monday 2:16pm. Greg arrived yesterday arvo' for the night. I usually put him in Hokeys bed and Hokey in with us but seeing Anjo' was waking lots through the night I stayed in Hokeys room too but then poor old Greg had to get up and moved in on the loungeroom floor because I snored too much. Great, Tony has a backup! Greg left about 8'ish I think it was.
We have a 'family' appointment at the doctor tomorrow. Haven't told Hokey but he's up for his 4yr old injections. Might be too early but Angelina will be coming up for her 12 month'rs and I'd like to get a referal for Tony to St George to see someone who can manage his diabetes. I have so much to do I'm sitting here stumped, not knowing where to start. ALL the baskets of washing still need to be folded but I have at least got them as far as the bedroom so a step closer to being done. Can't hang the wet stuff 'till I emptrry the dry stuff from the line. If I can get the kids out of the baskets I'll do that now.
Nonna came to visit this morning. Was nice for someone to come to see me for a change. Hokey's been crook in the evenings. Terribly high temperatures and vomiting but otherwise is ok through the day.
Gotta go, take care,

Time Out
Oh dear, I've just put Angel' in her cot and let her cooee off to sleep. Hokey fell asleep on the lounge watching 2 Fast 2 Furious. LOVES the cars. He is obviously out of sorts to be sleeping. I dosed him up a couple of times through the night to keep his tem0p down and he does look a bit pastey but 'feels' ok to the touch now so will let him rest. Tony had to shove me awake this morning I was in such a deep sleep. He is feeling better, bsl's just above 30 so I'll work at getting it down. Don't get me wrong, he's a top bloke and I love him to bits but he's a pain in the hole when he's crook, as most men are. No offense intended.
Mary came a cleaned for me, God bless her she really was going today. While she was still here a girl from some organisation/company arrived to change all my light globes to energy efficient ones. I filled out a for at the shopping centre and they arranged to change all the globes, free of charge. Heck why not, 15 or so globes about the house, in, out, lamps, stove. So I'm feeling good about that, a clean and energy efficient house. Laundry's loaded to the hilt but I'll do a load at a time, not more I can do ay?
Oh, I was at Campsie the other week and saw the display that goes around the centres selling cheap dvd's etc. I got a Hammy Hamster one and much to Tony's surprise Hokey LOVES it, so do I for that matter.
Better go, both asleep at same time in daylight hours. I will read or do something for me for the time out. Ciao and love to all.

Kell, we have to be in Cowra on the 19th Oct friday, we sre going to a wedding Ken is driving the bridal car, and plus our car is in the wedding alsoSo have to clean it after our trip there etc.. and we will stay until the sunday then home 21st i think you only land here on the sunday 21st. So we will catch up somewhere some time after that, hopefully work something out with Meg and laverty girls to meet up. will work on that later. What dates are your reunion and how long are you staying in Sydney when you arrive? or are you going somewhere first off?
Kell, reading your letter I really feel for you, it must be so hard for you not only to look after peter, but to watch the man you love and knew before this horrible illness, I know two people personally and it was so very sad for them but oh so very hard on their partner!! as a matter of fact its the carers who end up with a breakdown most of the time, can you get respite from anyone over there, it must be so hard on your own, as all your kids live away from you too don't they.our thoughts and love are with you.
Lisa, wow doesn't Steve look well, i was so pleased to see him looking so dapper, margie -babe too. and Yes!! i noticed ron's glasses, go the rabbitoh's! I have seen them before, weird how they work aye. I was talking to Stewart for "a couple of hours" the other night, he is coming down to the gold coast for a night while we are there, will be nice. I hope to get to see helena too while we are there. I haven't heard from her for ages, a bit slack on both our sides. Happy Birthday' to Ronny on the 12th if i forget before then. Have a good one Ronny!!!
Ken's mates from work were tee'd off because we are going away for ken's 60th , so they are taking him out tonight for tea, drinks whatever.... for his birthday which is nice of them, they are all much younger then him, they love his dry humour. He's worried he won't keep up with them. he probaly won't either as he is not used to big nights but never mind, hope he enjoys. their a nice bunch. I'll be watching footy at home. We have "Austar" on now first time we ever had it, its great, I got it on mostly for the footy.
I will go broadband when we get back from holidays to which will be good for this site, as i only have about 15 hours left on this one.
Greg myers came down and spent the night with us last weekend it was great having him, he went onto goulburn, and then to meg's as he had a hernia op yesterday, Meg said he is ok. Just has to behave himself and not do too much afterwards.
Thanks Sara for giving me a call I had the austar man here at the time and could hardly hear you, i could hear the little one screaming in the background so let you go. thanks anyway.
Well I had better get off here now i have been on over an hour. hope all are well love to you all, bye for now love Bernice xx
