I'm hoping this will work as it never has up to now. It has been 8&1/2 months since I last logged in and I'm thinking no-one uses it anymore. I've been meaning to call Aunt Mona for a good whole now as I know you used to login every day.  life has been just moving on, as it does. Kids are good, school is so so. I have been at this school since Hokey was in kindergarten. He's now in yr 5 and school is NOT his thing. I would like to send them to a school in the next suburb over but we are 2 blocks out of their catchment area. They will take people on special circumstances so I will try playing the "sick" card and use hospital appointments and the schools location being on the route home from the different hospitals Tony goes to so.com hoping that may get us in. The school is predominantly Italian/Greek which is what I WANT as the school where they are is 96% ethic, as is the one I want to send them but it's it's mostly Muslim and I'm Jack of the options given for things like the end of year parties; Angelina's is at an aquatic centre and they are to have hotdogs for lunch. The sausage options are; halal, vegetarian and gluten free. I put on the permission note that I wanted her to have a pain old Australian beef sausage. They sent the note back to me saying that the three options given are the ONLY ones offered. I'd love to get out of here andmove to the country somewhere where they can be with other 'white' kids. I don't mind the others but I don't want the kids to have to be do influenced by their culture and beliefs. They teach Greek, Arabic and Chinese at our school but no other language as there aren't enough students of other nationalities to warrant it. The school I want to send them to at least teaches Italian.
