Anna Bay

My boy is back. There was an anxious moment there when I didn't think he was on the plane. As soon as I saw the blonde hair I lost it. So good to have him home even if it is only for a short period of time. We called in to see mum and Aunty June on the way both are well and the neighbours all called in apparently at about 5pm with a bunch of flowers and a cake and sang happy birthday to her. She thought that was wonderful.

Greg took the boys surfing the next day and he and Jacob went for a ride on the Harley in the afternoon. Today Jacob and Greg did a tip run and as I only had 2 clients to see we have had a good day together.Marcus will be home shortly so I guess they will be off out and about somewhere. Got to go.Love Meg

Still mouldy!

Good morning everyone. I must appolagise, I never comment on others posts, I am so slack. Bernice, yes I did receive the cd's but haven't had the chance to see them Lisa, yours too. It's quiet now so I should be watching but decided to check in instead. Yes, the yabbying pic is a good one alright and the cars, I just loooove the shiny one. I could melt into that colour and be in absolute bliss. Yes, Hokey is 'pretty'. As a baby I was often asked "how old is she?" right up 'till almost 3yrs old. His behavior is all boy though. I have a loungeroom full of broken toys as testimony to that. Little sister is very much influenced by his behavior and likes to 'crash' things...

Jane, give Asha a few more years and she'll be right. I never fell in the high heels (not stilleto's but just as high). I could even run/trot after a few too many drinks. In fact, I think it was the drinks that allowed me to be so clever. I mightn't look the type but I used to be a bit of a shoe queen in my hey day, when I could walk! My best mate benefitted from my stroke, lucky cow!

Big Girl (Meg to those who don't know her nic' name) it was great to see the boys, always is. Didn't Ange go completely gooey over Marcus. You should send him down here to Double Bay to work as a gardener, he wouldn't have to work too long b/c some rich old broad would latch onto him for a 'toy boy'. He's such a good looking boy, they both are very handsome. Before even opening that pic you put on here I picked Aunty Val straight away. I have some originals of the same night but not that particular pic. Might contact the Western Herald for a copy. Good one of Mum and Dad.

I had been phoning Gregs early last week for a few days but couldn't reach anyone. I was after Mum and was getting worried. Think I text Greg and he phoned me Wensdy night and told me Mum was at Aunty Junes and had been for about a week. Just after he hung up Mum phoned and I couldn't find words to say anything to her, in living memory I cannot remember her ever sounding so happy and content. I know she's there as support for Aunty June but Aunty June has also been a wonderful strength to Mum She had 'life' and joy in her voice, blew me away. Thank you SO much to Aunty June.

I'd love to take one of Gregs dogs, they're both beautiful but I know he'd rather part with Wrinkles than Dicky Knee. If we didn't have our mutts, actually just Gizmo (I do NOT like that dog at all) I would take her but unless I let these ones play on the road then I don't see them going anywhere too soon.

No Bernice, don't ask about the 'moving'. I felt crook Friday night and had a sudden desire for eggs and spaghetti on toast (always a 'sick' food for me) but the spaghetti was still packed away in a box for the 'move'. Tony found it and fished it out but by then the hunger had paddes and the neausea had set in. I stumbled to the bed and lay down after skulling almost a litre of water. After a while I felt the urge to belch so let it come up but it was reflux. I was laying down so rolled over to spit into a tissue but too late, I choked all over the bed and floor. Tony was trying to mop up and I was projectiling all over the place. He put towels down on the bed and wiped my hair, stripped my shirt off then covered me over. I'd just picked up a 'cold' which isn't a biggie but I never get sick with them. I could count on two hands the times in my life I've been sick. I just don't get sick (the aneurysm wasn't 'sick', that was just a faulty head)! Anyway, it's Monday now and the cold is pretty much gone out of my system. Ange is still a bit chesty, Hokey and I are ok and Tony's still got it. Anyway, the move as it is/was obviously didn't happen so we're still here for the time being.

Beaut' day here too and I should be out in it. I ought to be walking Hokey to and from school but haven't been. I'll have to start doing that again.

The owners of this place came to clean the mould on Saturday and had the audacity to say it wasn't mould but was dust. I am not an arguementative sort of person so just asked to clean away from the beds and cielings. THEN contradicted themselves by suggesting to open the windows every day to ventilate the place. I might be disabled but I'm not bloody dumb! I won't be cleaning the walls when we move out, that is for certain.

No real news so love and kisses to everyone. Take care,

Love, again, Sara XXXXX

Quick note from Canberra

Hi All
I have not forgotten CD and DVD's I am having a bit of trouble with my burner ( not working) so will get them burnt and posted as soon as possible and sent out.

Anna Bay Antics

Hello all,
Only hours to go to my baby comes home, gets in at 2:50 tomorrow. I have 3 clients to see in the morning then I will call in get Marcus and go to Saries. They will be getting back from soccar by the time we get there. Cant wait to see my beautiful niece and nephew. Have the kettle on Hokey, and I might take you to the airport with me.
Asha I feel for you I really do. I broke a bone in my foot scampering over the rocks at Boat Harbour months ago and that was painful enough so I can imagine what you are going through. Bernice I did get your cd today thank you very much. Will have a look later. I went over to Aunty Junes last night to catch up with the girls. Took some home made chicken noodle soup over and Aunty June enjoyed it. Homemade by me too !!!!! watch out Ramsey. I hate the bloody kitchen. Both are well, Aunty June said mum goes walking everyday!!!! good for her. Greg and Marcus are on their way back from Barrington Tops with the horses, still a couple of hours away yet. A mate was using them to muster cattle for a few weeks. Marcus hurt his foot on the skateboard early in the week and got out of going on the walkathon at school today to go chasing nags!! I hope Greg managed to leave one of his dogs up there. Im a bit fed up with them at th moment, digging out of the yard EVERY day, holes are big enough to go through to China. I hate chaining them up but had to do it yesterday. Thats a great photo of Kellie Bernice, she looks like she has recovered from her ailments for the time being. She is probably getting ready to claim the lounge before the other two do.

Lissa congratulations on the permanent job, way to go girl. C you soon.
Peter just sent me this photo that was in the paper for anyone that may be interested, click on it and save it to a file so that you can zoom in. Bob you are there, is that really you???
Stewart I am still coming up there just dont know when. You will get the call.
Im a bit miffed with work at the moment, I lost about 25 clients to the new pommy RN that has recently started, they were in her territory split afterall so I should pull my head in. Just means that my days are not very busy until I get a few more admissions. It goes in waves
Well team must get off here and check in with Bourke so goodnight and stay welland happy
Love meg

Murwilumbah signing in

Hello everyone,

Oh! we have had drama this week. My poor darling Asha. Has broken her ankle or I should say absolutely smashed her ankle. Has had to have emergency surgery. All in the name of fashion.(plus a few cocktails under her belt.) 5screws and a plate in her ankle. Sat night Patrick and I were hosting a black tie cocktail party (lots of fun) and Asha rang at midnight crying saying that she had hurt her ankle. In an alcoholic haze I told her to go to a hospital. she thought she had sprained it. any way to cut a very long dramatic story short I went up and picked her up from Brisbane on Sunday, Monday i took her to casualty in Murbah they x-rayed and said she needed to see the orthopedic surgeon I thought just for plaster he took one look at it and said he had to operate that day so it has been a whirl wind the last 3 days. a few complications anyway at the moment things have settled. it has been really awful she has been in a lot of pain her stitches busted and back up to the surgeon. As a mother it is the worst thing seeing your child in pain
But, believe it or not I held it together the tears were there behind the eye balls but I didn't lose it until I got out of the hospital and home even though she is nearly 21 I hated leaving my child in the hospital in so much pain.
I can cope with anything I hold down a pretty stressful job and can run all my staff and students with ease, however anything happens to my children and I am a mess today I have felt so out of control. Poor mum she has had to cope with me and dad he worries about the kids just as much as I do and she wanted to be here with me but he needed her at home so i think she felt more out of control than I did.
In the middle of all of this I had to go to school today as I had reports due parent teacher interviews and God love Kenny and Bernice I got home today and Ash was the best I have seen for a few days, they had rung her and full of laughs she was feeling good.
Now in all of this if you are wondering how she did it I wasn't very explicit. Saturday night all glammed up brand new pair of high heels (she hadn't eaten for weeks to pay them off) DRUNK and fell over (not my daughter must have got it from her father).
So that has been my few days. Nothing like a bit of drama .
She is in lot of pain at the moment so i am hoping that it will eventually subside.

Love to everyone I just want to mention everyone but i am scared i will miss someone just to say I probably will get digital on the weekend and get a family fix. Have to ring the Tully's would love to get a text from big cousin Peter.

Grace is sitting next to me she says hope you all are good and safe where ever you are hello auntie Lisa & Ron & Kenny & Bernice & everyone else. love grace!

oodles of love to every one Jane xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Roselands 26/06/08

Very cool/cold wind blowing today but otherwise is sunny, yes Tommy...

Lin I received the key rings. Thanks so much, Hokey will love them. I should have opened the packet yesterday so he could take one for news today but I'll hold off 'til next week.

I had to take Ange to Occasional care a half hour earlier this morning so I could be back at school in time for Hokeys mid-year school report. Some areas he's doing great in and other areas need a little (lot) of attention but overall he's doing well.

I've been letting the dogs sleep on the back outside verandah because Tony said the other night when he looked outside there was a cat sitting up on the table between the two bird cages. Mutts aren't doing their job properly if cats are bold enough to come in the yard! I'm going to have to only allow Bruce to stay up though because Bianca the lazy little b**** won't go downstairs to pee and crap. If I only lock her out then Gizmo will yap all night because he has to sleep with Bianca. So lucky Brucie gets top spot.

Ange is asleep so I might try to get some cleaning done in the bathroom. Ciao all, XXX

Weekend Away photos!

Zappa on the weekend...
Lisa

Weekend Away!

Greetings Family,
Just had a brilliant weekend away - took Zappa camping for the first time. Such a laugh - especially when he met cows! He hid behind a tree and stuck his head around the tree to bark, then hid back behind the tree again! Photos are of us playing! We camped by the Mann river, about an hour away west.
Zappa is having a sleep-over tomorrow night as we will be away. Ronny and I leave at 4.30 in the morning to go to Sydney by bus. Yuk! we are taking our Advanced English classes to see King Lear. Travell all day, watch the play tomorrow night, then travel back all the next day. Thank goodness it only happens once a year!
Hey Tulley girls - did you get the dvd and cd? did not know what number, but sent it to Mooculta St. Hope you got it.
Felt bad about Wendy emailing me the day after I sent off all the dvd's. Asked for one - but I do not have one either! Am hoping to get back either Jane's or Stewart's. Mum is complaining now as she did not get one either. Had problems in the end, and could not do any more. Toni - could you send yours to Wendy to have a look please? I realised that no one in Aunty Ces's family got one either, but please share around. Stewart then complained that I did not edit the photos as there were a few bad ones - I said tough - we all know what everyone looked like and we all had fun!
Sara, I thought the photos of the car show were great!
Hang in there Aunt Mo and Kell, your dvd's will be there any day now!
cheers to all , have a great week,
love Lisa
P.S. Server is now telling me there is problems with the upload of photos. Will post this, then try photos separately!

Hey Sara

Yes the photos are there, it just becomes an older post, scroll to the bottom of the page and hit older posts. Or on the right hand side of this page under June posted!, just click on that and it will take you straight there.

I posted the key rings on Saturday, they are official collectors Items so should be kept but its up to Hockey what he does with them. Hope he likes them If I get any more I will keep them for you.
Belinda
PS Hi every one.

Roselands

I tried putting some photo's up last week of the Italian car show but obviously ballsed it up b/c it's not here. I will try again later.

We had Hokeys b/day party at Macca's yesterday. 30 kids! I invited all the ones he wanted, not expecting all to turn up but they did. At least they all had fun and it was cheaper and easier than having it at home. A lot of the kids were Muslim and that particular Macca's food is all Halal.

Ange is assleep so I'm supposed to be tidying house while I can but got caught on here as I have to reload all my software after having the system in for the warranty b/c knuckle head here didn't back it up so I lost everything. Ticked off!

Better go and finish this business b4 madam wakes. Talk later when/if I have news. Actually there's always news but as i've repeatedly said; plans change every day here so most of the time I don't know if I'm coming or going!

Love to all, Sara xxx

Yep it works!

Ok I have uploaded a 2mb video so have a go if you have one to upload. Hit the Film strip icon next to the picture icon and choose file. There is a limit to uploads so be discerning about what is uploaded and how often.

The one I have uploaded is Kate Markus filming the Christmas Tree hunt last year.

Video trial

Just trying to upload video. I have been talking to Stewart today and watching Lisa's video and pictures, I have turned into Meg and Aunt Mona and had a good cry, every time I see all the cousins together I cry.

I have just spoken to Melissa, Kelly and Jess and they are all doing fine. Jess had a cold and Peter has learnt to Text look out as every one will be on his hit list.

Aunty Kell I included the photos of your visit last year so if you can would you copy the other photos for Aunty Mona please and send them on. Kelly Tully get Lissa to copy you a disc so that you can keep what photos that you and Tam want and delete the rest, but make sure you get a copy of the disc, I know your history of looking after cd's kiddo. Jane and Stewart and Lisa will get one off to you soon and you too Mandy.I will send one on to Aunty Cook, Lin does she have a computer to view them? gosh so many, no worries, it will be raining again tomorrow and I only have 3 clients to see so it will be another day at the computer. Mark Myers a disc is coming your way too, I didnt forget you. Well Marcus's birthday party went well despite the fact that I got up early on Sunday to get the party thing happening. It came to 12pm and only a couple of kids. I said to Marcus that it didnt look good and that the rain was probably keeping them away. My son being himself said no Mum its not til 1pm. The toad had changed the time on the invitations but neglected to tell me!!!! The rain and gale force winds didnt stop them from enjoying themselves. The dart board and trampoline was a godsend. Keep on keeping on all and have a good day

Roselands

Lin you have GORGEOUS girls, they are stunners. Meg told me your suburb is "Wedn"??? That sounds a bit abbreviated to me, is it? She sent a txt so might've missed a letter or two.

Aunt Mo', plans change by the hour here and like I said to Bernice last night, "Nothing's concrete until it's done". Tony's brother phoned back again last night and spoke with Tony. Afterwards Tony came out to appolagise to me, saying "We ARE going to move". I told him I'm not living with his brother and he says we won't be so we'll see what happens through the week and w/e. I booked the pest control to go through the place on Thursday. Marc didn't want it done while he was there but if I'm moving in then I want all cockroaches, German, American, French Canadian, Chekoslovakian, ALL roaches out of there and bugger what he wants. Tony says there's an F100 up at the yard so he'll bring that down and start moving through the week. I will throw our clothes into some red/white and blue bags to take up. I'm desperate b/c the mould is getting so thick. No I haven't started to clean it.

Just right click on the photo of Lin and Peter and click 'Save to/as'. I saved it and printed a copy when I went out today.

I'd best go finish ironing the school uniforms whilest Madame is still asleep. Will add some pics too. Love to all,

Sara xxxxx

Photos that we want!!

Good morning all! Not quite time to get up yet but it wont be long, so enjoy those last few min.s while you can! Kell and I want CDs and or DVDs of EVERY photo! What a great time you had, and it shows in all the photos! We cant use Aussie videos in our machines, so everything on stills please. We will look at videos when we go home.
Sarie, sorry your move didn't take place. Better luck next time.
I talked to John last night, he had a good report from his doctor and is happy. Probably have a colonoscopy in Sept. then every three years after that.
Kell and Peter will be home tomorrow. Kate and co get home late tonight. I think Kell and Peter go to Calgary on Tuesday for a day or two. Bill and I have been going through old slides and photos..........got rid of a lot of my past.......no use to me any more, and some day someone will have to clean up after us! Frank is going to put our remaining slides on CD and DVD for me. Why would I learn to do it when he does it so well??? But first I want to get them in chronological order, or some semblance of same !! This is going to be time consuming! No matter, what I dont get done on rainy days we can do in winter. Dare I mention, Kell, that we are one week away from the longest day!! YEH!!! WINTER!!
Anyway , no news. Bill just called out to do the wine...ie. syphon from pail to carboy...my most disliked job. However, if I dont do it, it doesn't get done, so away I go.
Lisa, may I also have a copy of the photo of Lyn and Peter? I cant remember when I last saw Peter without his hat on. Well done. !!
Happy birthday to Hannah and Hokey !! Live it up! Enjoy. Life is short.
Love to all. Mona.

Hannah's 21st

Lauren and Hannah's Best Friend Mark ( they have known each other since birth) Making a speech.

Hi everyone
Hannah turned 21 on Friday the 13th, a lucky number Huh? we have had a big weekend with her friends all around. Her partner Sam is part owner in a night club bar in Canberra ( Northbar, ICBM and Mesh ) so they had a party there last night. I am catching up on cleaning tidying etc so will write tomorrow. But here are a few Photo's for you all.

Hey Lisa I can hear the noise from your photo and it was great noise too. Lauren has her dog Misha back from Bill she is cute but if she piss on the carpet she is DEAD!!!! That's why she had a holiday will Bill.

Did anyone send Lisa my Address? I would love copies of all CD-DVDs please. I am burning mine to DVD and will send them out to everyone.

Love to every one Belinda

Roselands

Well it's another cool but not cold day. The motor show was a huge disappointment. Plenty of Ferrari's and some Lambo's plus others but none were even started up. Kids had a good run around so at least the got to stretch their legs.

I wrapped a couple of gifts for Hokey last night and left them on top of the hallway heater. A dvd and 2 cd roms plus a little HotWheels car, a black ferrari. He was stoked with that. I made them from Angelina and was leaving our gift until this afternoon, a PS2 with two car games but am now in two minds whether to give it to him now or wait until christmas. He's happy enough with the dvd's and cd roms and I reckon that's plenty. Tony bought him a remote control car at the car show. Luckily I wasn't about or I would not have allowed it. To0 expensive at those shows and I'm certain he could pick up the exact same thing at the markets for $20. Besides, they're all made in China!

Fantastic photo's Toni, I've saved them to print off next time I go to Roselands. I'll have to go this week to print todays photo's for 'news' on Thursday.

Haven't given Hokeys cake to him yet. Later when Tony gets up, he fell out of the car when we got home, His legs gave in under him. I think I said earlier, I got a Black Forest log from Michelles Patisseri with 'Happy 5th Birthday Hokey Pokey' on a plaque. He will be so excited.

We are not moving anywhere in the near future. Marc hasn't done a thing about moving so it seems our packing has been in vain. We are so annoyed. There are boxes and bags everywhere. I had printed off heaps of rental properties for him to check out but am not going to do the leg work for him. At least it's less space that the cleaning ladies have to clean, the verandah is all bags and boxes packed 2 to 3 high!

I was sitting out the front enjoying the cool breeze and quiet but Hokey must've seen me through the rippled glass and they both came outside so that ended my peace and quiet. The mist started to fall soon after so I made them come inside.

I still haven't done my mouldy walls. Am in good clothes today so am not getting the bleach out now. I might tell the real estate to send the owners around to clean it up, it's a bloody health hazard!

Well there is no news so I'll shove off and find something to do. Hope you are all well. Yes please, I'd like copies of all/anyones photographs. Thankyou.

Sara xxxxx

HI

Photos and dvd

Hello family,

I am multi tasking as I type. I have just finished burning photos on one computer and I am editing the video on a borrowed computer. Having trouble with some of the audio and working out a way to fix it, but it takes so long. Very frustrating! Will hopfully finish it today and send them off to those who would like a copy - I spoke to some at the party about it. I do not have Meg's and Belinda's address. Could you email them to me please?Would also like Aunty June's address too please.

Gosh, everyone has been busy on the blog. I have not been near the computer all week, and I had to scoll back to read them all. Keep them coming!

I have so many fun photos of the party, will put up a few as there are a couple of gems. They are all so LOUD! Am sending Aunty Cook the photo of Peter and Belinda.

Have been busy entertaining our pup Zappa all weekend, still so cute. I can not wear my moccasin slippers any more as Zappa just wants to attack them!

Have a great week to all,

cheers,

Roselands, cloudy and cold...

I am F*&%#N P***ED OFF! I really need to deck sommeone but I'm always airing my dirty laundry on here so I'll spare you the details.

On another note, it's quite cool here today. Yesterday it was a glorious day, sunshine, warmish wind. Just glorious like a spring day. The wattle bushes at Hokeys school are in full bloom. Looks like it's going to be another non-winter here.

I have to go through and clean the mould from our walls. I hate that job but for our own healths sake it must be done.

Thank you Bernice and Jane, I know I'm no good at accepting compliments but I do appreciate them on the inside. Yeah, I do realise I'm lucky to be alive but hey, so are a lot of other people who are fortunate enough to be graced with my presence, if only on occasion. I know I'm good!!!

Today looks like a non-event so I might as well go get under the doona and try to read something. Hope all is well with everyone and yes, a BIG welcome to Rod and Jacky. Hope to see lots more pics of the little man and family... And to Megan. Always great to have the young'ns aboard.

Don't kid yourself Bernice, Aunty Grace has never been taller than anyone ;O)

Hello from Wagga Wagga

Hello everyone. We have had a freezing day here in Wagga Wagga, 11 degrees and winds that cut to the bone! I was on bus duty at school and nearly died. I just wrote an message to Sara via Facebook and told her how disappointed I was that I could not make June's birthday/ reunion on the weekend, it sounds like everyone had a great time. I know mum certainly did! Not much news to report, I have been madly writing school reports for my class and am looking forward to the school holidays in three weeks. I have told mum that I will go back to Bourke for a visit and am looking forward to that, but somehow not looking forward to the drive:( I have attached some photos that I took at Mt Oxley last time I was home at Christmas. Enjoy!

Megan

For you Lin & Lissa

Roselands 13/06/08

I have 5 minutes, barely, so thought I'd say a quick "g'day". So G'day to all. I was going to sew the seat of Hokeys track pants but the seam is much longer than I realised and thought it quicker to type a bit than start the sewing.
Angelina's asleep but I'll have to wake her soon to go collect Hokey. Tony is working and was a bit grumpy when he left this morning b/c I do home reading at school on Fridays and didn't get home 'til 10. He grumbled something about already losing 2hrs on his way out. I've been doing this since January and I'm not about to stop now. I don't like to take Angelina b/c she disrupts the class too much. I may have to compromise there and just shut the door when reading, sounds sensible!
While I was at school this morn' Tony had done some more packing. I intended to make Ange some fairy bread when I got home but he'd packed the pantry cupboard so she had a vegemite sanga instead. I was going to start packing clothes but he'd used all the red/white and blue bags so I have to go to Roselands this arv' and buy some more.
Ange is awake so we'll go get Hokey and I'll jot some more down later...
No, she was crying in her sleep. I'll pack all the linen tonight and clothing and hopefully we'll get a few trip done this w/e. I've been looking for units for Marc, it's the only way he'll get one. With us giving him a 100 a week I should be able to find something reasonable for him.

Have Hokey and bags etc, it's now 4:45pm and Tony and I have been discussing how we're going to go about this move. We've decided to offer Marc to move in here. It would be perfect for him. I'll clean the walls up and he'll have a garage out back to put his car in at night. Tony will speak to him tonight.

Now please, all this "hero" stuff, I feel awful because it just isn't right (in my eyes). I'm still the same in the head as I always have been and as far as my 'coping' goes I feel obligated to give credit where credit is due. It has been with the help and support of wonderful family and friends and a couple of marvelous Greek friends of mine, Zoloft and Xanax who have been there when times have been really rough and I've needed the extra support to help me go on. They are lovely mates and I thank them for being there when the chips are down. I do appreciate your kind thoughts and admiration but ;ile I say, my head's the same (except for the hole they didn't putty up after surgery) and as far as I see it, my disability is just a nusence that sometimes prevents or hinders me in some way from doing what I'd like to.

My admiration goes to all the 'oldies' at the party who are still kicking and have held up so well over the years if not somewhat mellowed (Bob). Michael has stepped easily into Bobs shoes though, God bless him. Yes, thank you Aunty Cec for the lovely slices. I finished off Aunty June's cake then moved onto the slice, I looooove fresh cream...

Well, the bath is run, a load of washing is on and Tony's going off at Hokey so I'd best get a roll on the evening run. Ciao and love to all,

Sara xxxxx

Ps; HAPPY BIRTHDAY to all in June...

What a great party

We had a great time at Aunty June's 80th - thanks so much for inviting us and to everyone who organised it. Rod said it had been about 25 years since he had seen some people. Oskar had a great time too and like his Dad, was happy to be 'last man/baby standing'.
Our email is 'rneal@iburst.chilli.net.au'.
Love from,
Jacky, Rod & Oskar

Hello all, all back home safely, thank you Lord. Well what a weekend, Jane you blow me away, I didn't know whether to laugh or cry when I saw you. I think it was Lissa who said to me, you must be related to Aunty Mona!!! If I could find plugs for these tear ducts I would invest in them. I wish Jacob could have been part of the festivities, never mind there is always my 80th next year and he can come, be the host if he likes! He arrives in Sydney on June 28th and I can't wait to see my little boy. We will be taking a run out to Bourke so he can catch up with the girls, and so I can throw a cod line in to try my luck. Has to be better than the antics on the Stockton Breakwall last Sunday night or was it early Monday morning, when Garry and Tully were trying to coax in the big jew fish. It had had enough of the games and got into the rocks on the breakwall, the one that got away. A trip into Newi for Macas seems that tea got away or was it breakfast at 1am!!!

It was great to see one and all, Michael P I couldnt get over the size of you, cant remember when I last saw you but I think I was taller than you then!!! Like all have said there are too many to be amazed over, it was wonderful to see everyone and to see Aunty June so happy despite all that she is going through. Those happy memories will be something for her to draw on when she is having a bad day. Toni gave Aunty June a digital photo frame for her birthday what a great idea, now she can have all the photos running all the time for her to see.

I will get onto putting the photos on cd Bernice, I only got the cameras video of Janie babe at the airport, a shame but I cant get it to run on the computer for some reason.

Must go and have a cuppa and put a few things in the dryer, still raining here, broke up a bit this afternoon.

Glad you liked the pumpkin pie Sarie, so did Greg. The bugger has cleaned up 3!!!! I will wait till he goes back to work then make a couple more. Can I freeze them Aunt Mona. Take care one and all. Sarie I will try to get up there to help you, have to work this weekend tho and Marcus has invited the whole bloody school so it seems for a sausage sizzzle on Sunday.
Love Meg

Mandy, tell Cec her' macadamia slice was scrumptious! It was lovely of her to take the time to Cook cakes, Toni-lee calls Cec "The paytons Angel" I think so too she is so soft, caring and unasuming. Ken rang John last night and john said his Doctor was sick so sees him today he hopes. Ken will ring him again ttonight.

I did did get the song from Kath and Kim >.Yes I laughed and lady bumped right thru it with them..Ha! thanks, Hokey is so funny on my video..I have watched it 3 times so far!!! I reckon Greg's speech was the greatest!!!! It makes me laugh out loud even when i think about it. Don't you think everyone!!!!

Jane...your right the "Tully Family' are amazing, its so lovely to see Peter with them and the way they get on....and Yes Sara is my hero too!! she is so9 incredible how she handles the kids ,driving etc etc and life in general!!

Sorry if i missed anyone will catch up next time must go....bye now love to all...Love bernice xx

Getting old...

I must be losing some grey matter, I didn't mention Rod and Jacquie and their extremely handsome little Oskar. How gorgeous and placid was he huh? And of course all the babies and little people. It's great to see them all having fun and playing together. I do have to appolagise to David Meyers though. Apparantly Hokey and Damon were having a bit of an altercation under a table over Marcus's Nintendo DS. Hokey was playing on it and little Damon wanted to watch but I think Hokey thought he wanted to take it and he is not yet accustomed to sharing so the fists started to fly. Greg alerted me and asked if I would like for him to go and sort it out but I went over myself and got down under the table to sort the matter. No tears were shed so it wasn't too bad. Hokey let the little fellow watch. Greg said all he could see was arms and legs flying around under the table. Hokey is probably accustomed to having a punch up by now, all his mates at school are Arabs and Islanders, some of them 5th and 6th classer's. He's a wild child.

Lin I haven't tried Flickr yet, still trying to get my head around what to pack next and arrange everything. Aunty Kell we're moving into Tony's parents place, Marc wants to move out into a unit by himself. Initially they were going to rent it out but Tony has decided we move in and just give Marc a 100 a week to assist his rent. It will save us 220 a week and beats the hell out of living in this mould infested dump. With all the recent rain the walls are caked in mould and I'm certain it's the cause of the kids coughs. Happened to me when I lived in Beecroft. Hope to move in the next 3 weeks. 5 Kingsgrove Road, Belomore, 2192 or 2196. It's a bit smaller but double brick and we can cull alot of the crap we have in the move. A lot of stuff I have to 'Ebay' but haven't yet photographed.

Yes, it's Hokeys birthday on Sunday 15th, 5yrs old. We are taking him to Motori Italiani (Italian Motor Expo) on Sunday. There will be Ferrari's, Lamborghini's, Alfa Romeo's, Ducati's, Fiat's and many more (anything after the first two will be an anti climax!) We are looking forward to it. Hokey is obsessed with cars, he'll be talking about God and Jesus and cars will come into the story. Everything gets converted to cars. Drives me nuts but he loves them so anything to please the boy. It will also be our 3rd anniversary that day, will be nice to go out to the show and do some wine tasting and enjoy a bit of wog food cooked by someone else, although I'm critical and compare to Tony's cooking.

He will be having a MacDonalds birthday party next Sunday. Easiest for us considering the wet and the move. I will hand his invitations out tomorrow at 'home reading'.

Angelina is in the cot watching her 'Brainy Baby' dvd. One of Hokey's from when he was her age and like him, she loves them. She already counts to ten (if you can understand the baby talk) and the alphabet, colours, shapes etc. They are very good learning tools for babies.

Flat out and haven't read all the posts yet so will finish off and go catch up. Love to all,
Sara xxx

Ps; Bernice, Lisa did you get the song I sent? Lady Bump by Kath and Kim? It's a classic...

Pps; Aunty Kell, prattle all you like. If I didn't prattle I would never put an entry on here and I enjoy the day to day stuff of what everyone is doing. Greg likes to 'people watch' also. Sometimes when he comes to Sydney he likes to go to Bondi Beach or Pitt St Mall just to people watch (if he were rich then that would be 'ecentric')!

oops

I'm so sorry Aunty Ces when I was thanking everyone for their help I didn't mention all those wonderful buscuits and slices you made, they came in handy for the Sunday gathering and they were very yummy.

Thankyou

Toni Lee

Murwillumbah signing in Weekend funniest moments!

Hi every one,
Wednesday night, like Sara i have written so, many blogs in my head. I have the sorest ribs from laughing on the weekend.
Stewart and I did a post party mortem on Mon night. Both of us have sore throats (from talking can you believe it!!!!!!!!!)
I got to school on Tuesday and the kids kept saying whats wrong with your voice Miss?
My party began at the airport when the Limo arrived to pick me up with the dressed chauffeur.
I was a little excited i thought someone may have a merc and Meg was here to pick me up in it however, In rolled the
UTE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
well that started it for me it was one hilarious thing after another,
Arriving at the party doing the grand entrance nearly sick with excitement just seeing every one Michael Payton who I thought was Robbie and beautiful Sara and her gorgeous children, Belinda Meg, Greg, Auntie Tom Auntie Cec and Uncle Ray Berrnice and Kenny and Nath and Russell and Peter and his beautiful girls. Every one I just couldn't get enough, Mandy and Bruce and Jenny White Haven't seen her for years Sara's first wedding. Auntie June looked the best i have seen her for years (or maybe that was the wine) Tony-lee and Matt, Wendy and her crew It was one big whirl wind Oh and Rodney Neal I haven't seen him since before we were married.
and boy did we party I wanted to jump in the booze courtesy bus home with Nat and her crew because they looked like partying No ......Greg decided we all looked too much fun and didn't want to go home. he worked out there would be a spare bed some where he wasn't stupid.
Off we went to our room and it started again
Greg was holding courtwith Stewart egging him on "the honey moon from hell" well I think that is where the sore ribs came into it. Laugh I am sure you could hear us all over Lemon Tree Passage.
3.00am we finally finished up for a few hours. Greg ended up kicking Belinda out of her double bed and she ended up on the sofa bed (she paid for the room) I'll leave that one for her to tell how come she ended up on the sofa !!!!!!!!!
Felt a bit queezy in the morning (must have been something I ate!!!!!!!!!!
I have been back to reality the last few days very very busy at work. At the moment I am in the middle of working just thought i would have a little sneak at the blog I couldn't resist having a chat. State of origin tonight and it is very big here particularly as it is in Brisbane I know a lot of staff went up for the game no doubt I will be inundated with phone calls in the morning with staff who are sick.
I'll close here a special hello to Peter and Jess, lissa,Kelly and Tammy what an amazing family. And what about Sara (my hero)
with all the love in the world Jane xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Sara

Sara, I just re-read your last blogs. --- What move? Where to? When did all this happen? I'm
sure Mo would have mentioned if she knew of any move, so please fill us in. I'm so happy that you & the littlies could attend the gathering, & get ot re-unite, & meet for the first time, some of the rellies. We are a wierd mob, but the BEST wierd mob there is!!
I see that hokeys' B'day is 15th, so I will re-do my calendar.
1.00pm, & STILL snowing. I HATE snow!! Talk soon. Love Kell

Celebration!

Dear Family,
What a wonderful time you all had. I think we should have thought of "get - to - gethers" many
years ago, instead of waiting for Stevie babe to turn 80 ??? All comments have been SO positive, even Mrs. Junie said it was fantastic, yet she must have been a bit worn out by the end of the evening. ( It DID end, didn't it?) By the way everyone is "blogging", I get the feeling that it isn't over yet! It was great to talk to so many of you the next day, at Wendys' Place I believe. The noise in the background said it all. Mo was not up to talking at the time, & I can certainly relate to that.
Did I ever say that I hate winter? Here it is, 10th June, Summetr time??? I think NOT. Feet of snow on the ground. I have spent the last hour, freezing, trying to save Kates' rather large tomato patch. I have used her bed spreads off the bunk beds, & all the older towels I could lay my hands on. (O.K. Lin, get over here NOW & see what you think of snow. )This is supposed to be the hot season.
Elisas' 8th birthday, says her party will be on Sayurday. So many birthdays this month. David M., Elisa, Markus, Hokey. (I have 2 dates for Hokey Sara, 10th & 15th. Which is correct? ) Ronnie, Hannah, Megan W., Kate & Dougs' 23rd anniv. Payton, Nath.,(same day) Owen, Junie, Helena, (same day) & Meg Jones. A VERY happy birthday to you all. I have a "birthday" calendar in the hitchen at home, so don't get the chance to forget anyone. I may not ring, but rest assured, you are all thought of!!
STILL snowing. (Mo should be here, she likes it.) It is after 11.00am, & this started about 6.00am. Not fair.
No news. Peter having a rough time. Asked me yeaserday, to "drive him home," as he thought he would only be gone a day, & didn't get anyone to look after the cattle! I told him we had sold the cattle, (33 years ago!) He was O. K. with that. Then a few days ago, he wanted me to drive him down to the Schofield house, (I sold that last Nov. Remember the time I had with faxes Toni Lee??) as the horses would be wondering about, with no one to look after them. Many similar things, but he soon forgets. Thinks the mail should be ours. Thinks I should be answering the business phone.
I will be looking forward to CD's, with the pictures of the gathering. I didn't recognise Michael or Jenny, otherwise most were familiar. A couple of blond young ladies were not familiar, perhaps Davids friend, & ??
We went to Kalispell yesterday, & Peter actually enjoyed it. He stayed in the car, & I checked in on him after each store I visited. He was "people watching", so kept busy. I got some nice summer (whats "summer" mean?) wreaths, some more "pretend" hydranga for the front door,
(Lin, I don't think I ever said thanks for the pictures you posted of hydranga many months ago.)
lots of candles, some clothes, & of course, food. We were gone about 4 hours, & as I said, Peter had a good time.
I'm just pratteling here, as the snow falls, so will finish off, before I have you all in depression!
Love to each & everyone of you. Please keep the blogs coming, INCLUDING (or especially) you young'ens!
I know I don't practice what I preach, but life in a small house, with alzheimers, is not easy, & by days end, I just "don't have it" anymore, even though I'm always "gunna".
Talk soon.Love Kell

Yes, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Marcus. 15yrs old, it's gone too fast but as good looking as ever...

Well there's just too much to say and I've written so many blogs in my head the past three days that I'm just about all blogged out! What a FANTASTIC weekend. It was positively the best weekend I have experienced (barr childhood ones with all the family). How good did Aunty June look ay? I was amazed, it must have been exhausting for her but and she held up so well. Mind you I didn't chat as much as I should have because like most I was 'mingling' although I'm sure Aunty June enjoyed seeing everyone together and all having such a wonderful time.

Nath' if Tooheys Extra Dry is an expensive one then I am positively spoilt because I only drink Corona. I know I'm spoilt and I love it.

I was especially pleased to see my younger cousins, the ones I grew up around and spent holidays with. Toni of course, the Laverty girls, the Meyers family (Robbie is gorgeous), Rod who hasn't changed a bit and Michael who I didn't have a clue who he was at first but still a great mate. It was fantastic to see Peter and all his girls too. I haven't seen them since Aunty Cec's 60th was it? Out at Kenibree anyway. They all look great and were in good spirits. I didn't get any phone numbers, addresses or email addresses, if anyone has all, most or any of these details please forward them to me. I'm sure there would be someone nearby who has my email address. Thank you.

Now you youngest ones, from one of the young ones (or one of the younger of the first cousins but now semi middle aged!) stop being shy, pull your fingers out and post a note on here occasionally, even if it's just to tell us what the weather is like where you are. Even though Jessie pointed out that the younger ones stay in touch on their own blog because "all you Paytons and your oldie stories and pumpkin pies". The pumpkin pie by the way, at first I thought was caramel but decided, to be nice seeing Meg had spent so much time making them I cut off a slither and gingerly tasted it. It was DELICIOUS! There were still two left sitting on the bench and she said Gary was having one and we, Tully's and myself or mum could split the other one but I forgot to grab it on my way out, BUGGER!

We all loved Lin's camera and I'm sure she got the best pictures on it. It was a real paparazi style gadget.

We left to come home at quarter to 5 on Sunday arv' as I decided with the wet weekend all the travellers would be heading back to Sydney earlier on Monday. As it was there was heaps of traffic but it was all moving at no less than the speed limit so that was a blessing. Giancarlo slept all the way and Angelina watched her DVD's all the way and didn't start to get doughy until we hit Canterbury Road so I just cooee'd out to her to keep her awake whilest we went down our street. Once she saw Daddy she was all bright eye'd and bushy tailed! Tony had a hot bath waiting for me, the leccie blankie turned on and meatballs and sauce readt to eat. We were only away for 36 hours but he missed us. All the washing was folded and put away, house was clean and tidy and he'd started to pack up the kitchen ready to move.

Back to school today. Hokeys classmate and dad were passing as I was loading mine into the car so I gave them a lift to school, it was raining. Angelina was asleep by the time we came home so I put her in her cot and she will hopefully now be back into a normal sleeping pattern after the weekend. She has a horsey throat from all that screaming.

I've just written up a booklet of invitations for Hokeys birthday. We are having the party at Macca's on the 22nd. His birthday is on the 15th but the weekend is booked out so I had to take the 22nd booking. We are doing the MacDonalds party because we hope to be half out of here over the next couple of weekends and with all the rain we've had it wouldn't be easy entertaining inside especially if his whole class comes!

I have to call Harvey Norman or whoever it is who is doing the warranty on this pc to come and fix the cd-rom. It won't stay in or read anything.

Ok, I'd better shove off and do something, another load of washing and drying perhaps...

Love and cheers to everyone, hope to stay in touch with you all on a regular basis :O)

Well Mo and Kell don't read this before I invest in Kleenex, because I know there share prices will go up in the next few days after every one adds to the blog. Between the 2 of you they will shoot up!!!!!!

It was wonderful to see everyone and pick up from the last time ( Steve's 80Th) seems like there was only a week or 2 in between. I have to get my thoughts around it all and then write as I will ramble on about anything. I am down loading photos as I write and it is taking for every. I am going to get a pack of CD and will burn for everyone as there are just 2 many to email/post. and some great ones too. so Mo and Kell here you go a few to keep you happy till the post arrives.

I have moved you post over from Oi Oi Oi Kell. If you want I can Delete that blog but you need to talk to Palso about it. We can set her up another blog the same but with different sign in so we don't get confused.

@##!!!%**!!#$ telephone!

Dear Family,

It is now 3.35am, here 7.30pm there (on Sat. eve for you.)I have been trying to ring now for over 30 minutes, & the call WILL NOT go through. I have no ideawhat is going on, but I am VERY disappointed. I have been waiting all night to ring, & now this.I can see you all gathered there, talking all at once, & it is delightfully noisy!! Yet I CAN'T hear it, thanks to this telephone. I have checked the # so many times, so that is not the problem. I will ring Mrs. Junie tomorrow arvo, her time, but am very frustrated @ not being able to ring tonight.I'm sure you are all having a great time, & will go on till the wee hours, if I know my family.I'm going to bed now, but probably won't sleep, as I feel very "let down." I'll expect to hear lotsof comments about the evening. Love to you all. Kell

oi oi oi

Dear Family,
I just posted on what I thought was "our" blog, but it inded up in " OI OI OI "
so please go there, as I can't 'transfer" it to this site. I guess I was too mad to notice! Love kell

Big day today.

Dear family,
I just spoke to Mo, re: accessing the page. I am in Whitefish, the childa left this am, 6ish. Taking
a 7 day house boat cruise on Lake Powell, Utah. Dougs' sister Penny will meet up with them in Salt Lake City, an 11 hour drive from here. Tomorrow they do the last 300 miles, to the house boat. Peter & I are here till they return on 16th. We have to be in Calgary on 17th, so will be a long trip for Peter.
It is raining in P.M. MUCH needed, as they were getting desperate. It is raining here too, has been for a few weeks. June is usually wet, then July VERY dry!!
The reason for this episode is not to discuss current weather conditions, but rather, the GATHERING tonight!! Mo will be ringing Junie earlier than the dinner. I will ring her at the dinner. We will both be with you all, all day, & well into the night. We are quite envious, but that doesn't help any!! What a wonderful gathering it will be. I can hear the chatter now, & it hasn't even started yet. I know you will all have a wonderful time, so please have a wee thought for us.
Lin, Dan mentioned your call at dinner last night. First Kate knew of your call. Hope you find a good sitter for Rocky. We will expect PAGES of photos!! Use Flickr if necessary.
Peter & I were in Calgary from May 25th till 30th helping Charlotte & Steve with their gardens. Both were looking great when we left. Had to get rid of the weeds before we could dig, or plant.
I think both yards are O.K. now. This AM I DEAD-HEADED kATES "PLANTER" PLANTS ON THE BACK PORCH. SHE RAN OUT OF TIME. SO BETWEEN RAIN SHOWERS IT IS NOW DONE. (Sorry about the large caps!! I watch the key board, not the screen, so it got away from me!!!) I have a couple of plants to put in for her, but will wait to see if tomorrow is any sunnier!!
Lin, you have seen the size or the yard here. So the horses are having a fab. time eating the lawn. It beats mowing all to heck.
This was the year that I was NOT going to do the church garden. Well, it is in now too, just finished the last of it before we left yesterday. So far it looks good, but with all gardens combined, my back is VERY unhappy. A "hot tub" helped last night, & will help each night till we are home again.
Melissa, I want to thank you SO much for keeping us informed over the past 4 weeks. It is not easy, being so far away from everyone. Your updates really helped. And Meg, I understand you were a GodSend. Thank you too, for doing things that were so needed, & so apprieciated.
Mo was a godsend for me. We could ring each other at any hour for a little comfort.
There is a beautiful big male phesant on the lawn outside. It is too dark to get a photo, but will get one next time he visits, which is often the kids said.
Horses are happy, Peter is sleeping, I have most of my "chores" done, so will attack the e-mails after lunch.
Love to you all. It is 4.00am for you now, so some of you will have arrived. I'll spend the rest of the day with you. The dinner will be at 3.am my time, at least, that is when I will ring. Lin has offered her mobile for the call. Thanks Lin. "See" you all tonight. Love t o everyone. Kell

June long week end

Well that must have been named after Juney! and we wil be all together on the June long weekend with June!

Lisa I love Zappa and Zappa may meet Rocky if I can't get a "Baby" sitter. I forgot all about it and Hannah is away, Lauren is house sitting and working. So have to see what I can find.

Mo The photos are small because you are saving them from the scanner to computer in small format try saving 300 dpi and normal photo size in cm ( same as you are scanning) I see This Christmas will be busy will blog lessons HUH !!!! Tell Bill to get the snow shoes ready as he promised me a long walk.

No news I should be cleaning house going to the gym ( yes I will Meg) going to work for a few hours and generally tidying up. But no I am on this B*&^%^y computer again.

I spoke to Dan Markus yesterday, Kate was out and we had agreat chat. Today (Thursday for them) is thier last day of school for 3 months and they have tests all day so They have to go to school. Very one is well.

Not much more to say, so with Rocky giving me the sad puppy look I guess it's of for a walk.

See you all tomorrow! Belinda .

Ps The camera is charging as I type.
