Well look what I found, the post below is what I got when I searched for Boree Log. Is it correct? The voice is pretty bad but you get the poem. Now Aunt Mo NO BLOODY TEARS!!!!

No News but Hi anyway
Just stopped by for a read and to say Hi. No news, it's raining today and I have spent more of the day on the computer working I am putting in an application to the Australia Council for a grant to go to France next year. I want to go to Lyon to a weaving studio. The grants are highly competitive but as they say you have to be in it to win it. I hate writing grant applications you spend hours ( 20-50 some times more) and 99% you don't get a look in. But I would love to go to this place so will keep my fingers crossed.
The girls are well and busy with their lives. Hannah has a new job but does not start for 4 weeks she has to work out her contract and the new people are prepared to wait. She is excited as its a lot more money than she is getting now.
Lauren is looking for a new job as well she is to bored at Immigration as she does not have enough to do and needs a challenge.
Poor me still looking, but like Bernice said age is against me. They say there is no age discrimination but Huh yes there is. Any way will just keep trying. I have decided not to go to basecamp this year as I need a new bathroom and the money would be better spent on the house. So maybe next year before I really am to old!
Hope every one is well. love Belinda

Anna Bay
Evening everyone,
All is well. I am on a break in Bourke at the moment catching up with everyone. That was not hard to do as yesterday I went to the Biggest Morning Tea with Cathy Lowe. Of course everyone was there and Lissy had a session from mobile running there so I caught up with her at work in a sense. She looked so professional doing her stuff. Saw The simpsons, that is Pam and Nev, Phoebe Gaffney, Joyce & peter O'shannasay Lorraine and Andrew Lewis Barbara Davis Gwen Davis etc etc. Everyone looks well. Bourke and district have had a bit of rainfall so its all lovely and fresh and you can smell the gidgee in the air.The yabbies are plentiful but I have not been out yet, Bert Hopley called in today and said to go to Gumbalie yabbying. Peter is somewhere between Birdsville and Inaminka. He was suppose to be home today but got stuck up there because the creeks were too full to cross. Lissy is studying for an exam on Tuesday instead of going out on the town. Kell is cleaning up her room and getting ready to go to a rally tomorrow. Lissy is going to drive the horse float down to the show ground, I will go down later on and watch her for awhile. Tonight I took Kell driving so that she could practice her parking. She did well and with a bit more practice will pick up her confidence. Liss had the billy aka the saucepan on the boil on the wood stove so that we can have a "real cuppa" in a minute.
There is a bit of a mouse plague on here at the moment. The cupboard in the laundry was so rancid with the smell of mice so Lissa set a heap of traps in there yesterday afternoon and till this time had trapped 16 bloody mice. Wally the cat needs a good shaking up as he is not doing his job.
My courses went well, I really enjoyed the forensic one, it was very interesting and I picked up a few pointers to put under my hat. I was glad to finish the triage course by the second day. The first day was really good but the second was more on the legalities and even though it was a necessity it was boring. Now I have to concentrate on the next one which is Advanced Life support which I will be tested on at the end of July. Now that Our registrations are going national we have to get so many credit points to maintain that registration which is proof of ongoing education. Its all getting a bit much I am afraid.
Marcus has just completed a weeks work experience with a builder and loved it, next placement he is going to work with a plumber. Hopefully he will find what he is looking for in life outside of the beach.
Greg took mum to the doctors for me yesteday bless him. I phoned mum tonight and the doctor said that he didnt need to see her again so that is wonderful news.
Jacob is cruising along and saving his money for a car. He does want to go to NZ in June/July to sort out his bits and pieces. I dont know when he actually plans to go, I just hope he plans on coming back. He seems happy enough with his current job but is quickly realising how little money he does earn and how hard it is to budget.
The boys and I moved out of Gregs into a 3 bedroom unit a couple of streets away. Its a nice place, so far anyway. Might change my mind in holiday time as there a few holiday rentals there. Its nice to have our own space and I am sure Greg is pleased to have his house back and his own space. He is going well and in love. He has both dogs back now. Wrinkles turned up at the Gold Coast pound. It would be interesting to know how she got from Byron Bay to the Gold Coast if she could talk. He drove up there to pick her up and when she saw Marcus the reunion just about made me cry.
Jess it was lovely to see you on the blogg, give Jon a hug for me, and i hope he is on the mend.
I might be going out camping at the Lowes tomorrow if we dont get anymore rain out here that is. Otherwise we wont get out onto the block.
Probably wont get on here again for an age, was just watching the footy and decided to log on. Take care one and all.
love Meg

quicky in reply to Bernice and Mona...
Hi to everyone,
I'm employeed casualy with the zoo, but have had bugger all work with them, its such a sort after job, i just have to wait... I'm completing my highest level of vet nursing this year, via work at the clinic and through a private vet nursing collage, which my boss is paying for. Not sure about being a vet, i dont think i have the committment, its about 9 years all up training and i dont know if its entirely what i want to do. I know i wont be in sydney forever so i really have no idea what i will be doing, just completing my nursing for now. while i am in sydney i may do a cake decorating course or even child care.
Melissa is working with the childrens moblie, a service that goes out to all the properties and gives the isolated children a "pre-school" experience.. She is absolutly fabulous at it & loves it too which is good, she is also studying marine biology via distance ed.
Dad and Kell are doing well dad still working hard all around the country side, and following kelly and a close family friend to various shows with horse riding. Kelly and Melissa are turning in to very good little riders, kelly just won many events at cunnamulla show on her pony Sally.
I think most of the family know about my Boyfriend Jon- to put it all in a nut shell, i met Jon in Bourke a couple of years ago and have been dating him for 18months, He is a police officer in the Riot squad. He is a sydney boy and is Fablous, i love him to bits. He is living in between my house and his parents down here....
any way tomorrow is my first day back at work after the bike accident, so i best be off.....
love to all
Jess

Pilot Mound is back !
Morning all. This may have to be cut short, Bill has gone for coffee....daily routine.....and we are going out when he gets home. I wanted to tell you first that Kell has been trying to get on, but her computer wont let her. Peter is doing well, likes it in the home, Kell visits daily and takes treats. I think she is doing OK. Needs to take it easy for awhile and let things settle, but like Tom, can't sit still.
I went back to my last post and made notes, so here we go with comments and or questions:
Lisa, GREAT pic of your dad and mum. My bro. looks sooo gooood ! Sorry to hear about the disorientation, but it is life. Give him hugs from me when you see him.
How did the trip to Sydney go ? 40 teens...MUCH better you and Ron than me !!
I'm glad Ron's dad has settled. It is a big adjustment to make. Good for him. And he will enjoy having you two to visit.
I do have a mouse for the lap top, not cordless, but that is coming. I would be out on the deck with it now, but it is spitting rain and a bit cool.
OK, Jess. WHO IS JON ???? More details and a photo please. What happened about your work at the Zoo? Are you doing any upgrade courses at the Vet. Clinic? Going in to be a Vet. ?
What is Lissa's full time job and Uni degree? And how is she? Along with Kell and dad?
I hope you have recovered from your accident ? And Jess, you just DO NOT get over the open plains. It sticks to you like glue. I often say to Bill, ' Just one drive out into the bush, horse bells ringing, sheep bleating, I might not come back, but take me for just one more drive."
And Jess, don't worry about writing short postings, just do short ones often, keep us up to date.
Sarie......so Johnno is in Dubbo? When you get an address, let me know. I am glad for them. But I hope he can go visit Bourke now and again, check on the graves, etc.
I know how you feel about the lice !! I started to scratch on reading your note ! How I hate them.
Please, someone, let us know what the "great news about Lenice" is, and also, are Wendy and Len moving, or moved? Where to, and when? Also Sarie, you have the computer in "Marc's room" ....... is he still with you, or moved?
Not much, no, any, news from here. The crops are all in in our area and we are looking for rain.
Bill and I planted our carrott garden yesterday, about 75 x 75 ft. bed, and the carrotts go to Winnipeg Harvest.......feed the poor. Bill also put in a few potatoes for ourselves. We don't get many, but so nice straight out of the garden. It has been trying to rain all day and not getting anywhere. I should go out and wash the car. Hope to leave here at day break (about 6) on 27th June, spend about 5 days with Kell then home. It's hard work trying to get enough time when we can both be away to make the trip worthwhile. I want to get my own garden...just around the house...planted and safe to leave before we go. I hear himself at the back door, so best go. Love to all. Take care and God Bless. Mona

Greetings from Belmore 21/5/10
Hello Family, have tried logging in a couple of times but the page wouldn't load for me.
Tony's moved the computer from the back room to the middle room (used to be Marc's) so at least it's not quite so freezing and I still feel a part of the family whilest I'm in here :o/
Jess', please, be careful. Your Dad must've freaked! Good to hear you're settled into work, albeit missing the wide open spaces (that never goes away). I was of the understanding you worked at the zoo, what happened there?
Great pic' of Uncle Steve and Aunty Marj', I was thinking of him on his birthday. 84, onya Uncle Steve ...
Also thinking of Jake Anstey, Michael Payton, Terese Laverty, Chris Linehan and Charlotte Deda this month. HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you all, xOxOx
Clever dickie Aunt' Mo', now you're 'mobile'. Good to hear you're doing well and Aunty Kell too. She must be catching up on much needed rest, good for her too.
Lyn' it was good to see you back on the blog. Nice to hear the newly wed's are happy and had a lovely honeymoon.
Wendy, great news about Lenice. Funny, ntil Aunty Junes 80th I hadn't seen those girls since they were wee little things. My my, Nan and Pop looking forward to moving South to be near the youngsters?
A note came home from school today warning that head lice had been discovered in the class. My reaction was predictable, I scratched my head! I checked Giancarlo over and didn't see anything but will treat him tomorrow anyway. **scratch scratch**
Haven't spoken to Mum in a couple of days. I have tried calling but the silly bloody answering machine kicks in and she doesn't know how to retrieve messages. I think Meg turned the phone machine off but the automated one from Telstra may be connected too, dunno...
Mum said Johnno's in Dubbo already. I've been meaning to call him and get his address, it's been a while since I spoke with him.
I'm so tired so think I will retire to my bed now. Sorry it's not much of a posting but I'm too dazed to focus. Beats the hell out of me how Nana managed ...
G'night folks, love to all,
Sara XXXXX

Jon will still be off for another 2 or 3 weeks before he returns to light duties and couple be a further 3 weeks on top of that till he's back on full duties.

Love to all
Jess

Hello family, Grafton here...
Hi All,
Just a quick note. In a rush, dinner just about ready so will try to make it fast. (Ronny is cooking tonight). All well here. Had a great Mother's day and Dad's birthday celebration last Sunday in Byron Bay. All the family present except Anthea, but that was due to distance. She is still in North Queensland teaching.
Mum is great, dad not so good. When he is away from his home he gets very disoriented and can not recall where/ what town he is in - mind you, they get about a bit! They are in Brisbane this weekend with Stewart. A few weekends ago Ronny, Zappa and I spent the weekend with Stewart in Brisbane. Bruce (Stewart's dog) and Zappa had a brilliant time together. It was a magic weekend. Hockey is in full swing here, so we don't get many weekends off, so we make the most of the few hockey free weekends we have. - That did not come out right - I love my hockey!
Ronny and I are off to Sydney with 40 seventeen/ eighteen year old students this week. We leave at midnight on Tuesday night. We see Hamlet, the text we are studying. Every year Ronny and I say we are not doing it again - but we always do!
Ronny's dad is doing well in the Nursing Home. He really feels part of the place now, which is a big relief to us. He is looking healthy and happy.
An amazing coincidence happened - Ronny's brother and partner just bought a house - right around the corner from Mum and Dad. Literally, walking distance. As Ian is a great cook (they just sold their restaurant in Lenox Head) mum is hoping for an invite to dinner! It will happen soon.
Aunty Mona, we have a lap top too, but we have a USB connection and a cordless mouse. Makes the world of difference and they are pretty cheap too. Don't have to fiddle with the flat pad with your finger. You should check it out.
Ronny is rustling in the kitchen, so I better go. Hopefully, this blog post will start with a great photo of Mum and Dad last weekend. It was the day before Dad was 84.
Love you all,
Lisa
Pilot Mound checking in.
Good morning all. I am out on our deck, trying out my lap top.......given to me by Doug.....and just hooked up to a router this afternoon and I feel soooooooo smart!! Having a tad of trouble managing the little arrow thingy and the finger pad, but I'll get used to it. I love being able to sit out here and write, Just sent Kell a note to show off! She has an up to date model, but doesn't sit out on the deck to use it. Me, if I can be out here, I am! No news, I just wanted to update you on how clever I was.More later....Bill has just BBQ'd supper, so must go eat. Love to all , your very talented sister, aunt, cousin or whatever !! Mona

Canberra Calling
Well really no news but thought I would pop in and say Hi.
Everyone is doing well, and so pleased to hear Aunty Tom is on the meand. The newly weds very happy and had a fantastic honeymoon that I must say I was very jealous as I have never been to New York or New Orleans but would have love to be there for the great food, music and site seeing. Oh well there is always next year for me! Hannah now has her professional photos back so will get a few and post as soon as I can get her organized to hand them over. I will post some to Canada and USA for the family.
I have not done any thing new or exciting lately just same old same old. Am looking for a new job but at my age I am positively ancient as far as most interviews have gone, so what does that say about our society? It will be interesting to see what the budget will do to the public service here and the job hunt.
Any way just babbling so have a good day all love Belinda

Cool, rainy Pilot Mound
Good morning all, and thanks Sarie and Meg for your updates. Meg, I retired (and was GLAD !!to do so) in 1993. But I would give almost anything to go with you to Triage and Forensic courses!! Especially Forensic ! Are we sick or something??? So happy Tom is doing well again.
I will call her tonight if I'm home in time, otherwise tomorrow. Today is Smorg day. I sent my two lemon merangue pies over, Bill just went to work and I will go over for clean up at 5-30.
Bill and I will eat first, then start on the clean up. I only do the dessert table......sell or give away all the left over pies and ' pudding' ...usually far too many. The old body doesn't take too kindly to doing too much these days.
I don't know if I am meant to tell you all, but Peter is at last in Vista Villiage and has settled very well. Kell hasn't been too well herself but is visiting often to make sure he is happy. When he is totally settled I think she will do better. We hope to get over in June sometime.
Cook just phoned and we had a good chat. All well with she and Dan.
Really nothing to tell you, we had a lovely snow fall as we came home from church, big fluffy flakes and so peaceful, but all gone again now. It is still spitting rain.
Called Cec yesterday and had a good chat. She told me John and Vicky have almost moved to Dubbo. I am glad for them, sad for me. No longer ' home.' I will have to visit anyway, when we do go home next.....likely our last trip, but we won't go there !!
Best go. Will get back when there is something to tell. Love to all. God Bless. Mona

Anna Bay
Just a short note to update on Mums condition for you all. As it has turned out there are no cancer cells that have been detected and she has been diagnosed with organised pneumonia. I wont go into the mechanisim of it its easy to look up on google if you are interested. She has to take a reducing dose of prednisone over the next month then have another chest xray and see the oncologist again. She told him that her ears ring and that she walks to the side at times. That of course is a side effect of the medication as well as hyping her up. She now weighs 42.5kg that put a smile on her face. She is nearly back to her old self, just a bit slower doing things.
We are all well, I have been working a full roster doing 10 and 8 hour night shifts. I have now decided to knock myself out for the whole day instead of having 3 hours in the morning and 2 &1/2 hours of a night. I might feel a bit better in myself instead of feeling washed out all the time and amotivated. I have a trige course to do in Muswellbrook at the end of the month and a forensic evidence seminar to attend in Gosford in the middle of the month. I am looking forward to both, especially the forensic one. Jacob is enjoying his job at Jaycar electronics, I just wish he would keep looking for a better paying job and one that will get him a career later in life. I am going to plant the idea of joining the forces soon. Maybe that will open up his mind a bit.
Time to get ready for work so cheerio to all.
