I'm baaa'aaack 20/7/12

Yes Aunty, it's just you and I :o/

Well, as usual I have no news.I did want to load some photo's but the kids have been using my camera to make videos and so these must also download when I plug in the SD card. This being an old computer it is very slow to load, may take up to or even over an hour but I'll just leave it running anyway, will eventually get there.

STILL haven't sorted the kids room as Tony hasn't been too good of late. So Mum is STILL crowded with her boxes. I think she's settled well enough though, not cold anymore as we usually have the fire going and when that is not on we have the heater going. She potters about doing her own thing so I think she is content enough Aunty.

Wish our bathroom was being renovated, it's decrepit and falling to pieces. Cupboard is full of mould and vanity doors swell shut. Just another thing on a loooong list of 'things' needing to be done.

Don't know anything of Pops plaque as I think there are only the young'ns out there and they don't frequent the cemetery. Well, I'm sure they go out to see their Mum but may not even know where Nans grave is. I don't know.

Kids have had their birthdays, 9 & 6 yrs old now. Years 4 and 1 at school. Hokey gets in trouble while Madam is a model student. They are both healthy and happy kids so that's all that matters to me.

Lovely day out there today so I hope Tony is able to get up later and chop some wood because it is bloody cold out there and will be inside if we don't get those flames stoked tonight :o/

My hand is very slowly getting into a better position although I have to wear a particular brace to try to get it into a position where the hand is face toward my chest. As it is, it's palm side up and flops back onto my chest when I lay dow. Prompts a fair yell from me. I do need to try to straighten my arm out more though as the surgery has tightened that part of my shoulder/elbow. That also hurts like crazy. All in all though, the surgery was worth it .

I'm going to pop out to Jesse Tully's tomorrow to drop a bag of clothes off for Marcus. Jess is going home to Bourke on Monday and the boys are still out there working. Sending the clothes as work gear for Marcus.

Meg is still traveling about with her coarse for the job she is doing. Seems to be pretty in depth but he also seems pretty happy with it so that is what's important.

Greg still goes to and fro' with the mines. It's good work and pays the mortgage, always a plus..

Well that's my wonderful life people. I do hope everyone else is well and happy?

Pilot Mound checking in.

Hi Sarie. Seems like you and I are the only ones looking at/ using the blog, so lets chat! First, how has Tom settled in? Is she happy there? Details please.
Has anyone said anything about Dad's plaque on mum's grave?  I didn't ask permission from anyone, John & Vicki, Cec and Kell and I discussed it, Cec did all the running around for it, Kell, Cook and I paid for it, and Bob, bless him, did the instillation work...saved me about $500. I like it and hope everyone else does but no one has mentioned it. I wanted it done just to acknowledge dad's life.
No news here. I talk to Kell fairly often and her fam. are all well. She is at home just now but likely back to Montana this week.
The plasterer just arrived to do the joints in our bathroom...a couple of days for plaster then sanding then painting then cupboard top, sink in  and I hope I can start to use it again. We will use the one down stairs till then.
Just did a spell check on this.....don't like the spelling for instillation, but quess they know what they are doing!
Anyway Kid, no news here so I will go. Hope all is going well at your house.
I have a meeting tonight at 5 till 6-30...9-30 am your time, so I might try to give Tom a call then.  Take care and love to all. God Bless.  Mona

My turn...

No news at Belmore, same old same old. Mum has settled well but we still haven't moved Ange's gear into Hokey's room so she's got piles of gear about her room. Have to empty Our gear from Hokey's cupboards so we can fit his and Ange's gear in. Bloody itty bitty house, no room to swing the cat, although the dog gives it a fair try :o/

Yes, thank you to Carol (I thought) for the update on Lenices beautiful little boy. Prayers and Gods gifts to the medical practitioners for their expertise.

Have been crook for a week and am getting real pissed off with it. Doc says it's viral, have blood tests on Monday to check it out.

My battery is going flat so have to logoff. Hope all are well,

Sara

Guess who???

Good morning all. Oh, I have been at this thing ALL afternoon, finally saved some pages and sent them to Lyn to see if she can help, then in desperation went back to this and it asked me "New post"????
So here I am, with not much time left before I have to go out!
First, I want to say 'Thanks' to, probably Lenice, for putting Dexter's history on the Blog for us. Carol had E Mailed me to tell me, so it wasn't too much of a shock, but the history is so well written and so full of info. Thank you.
You know without me telling you that we pray for you and for Dexter and the entire family. What a heartbreaker especially when Dexter was doing so well. And isn't he beautiful!!
Bill and I are living our early years again, with no walls in the bathroom and towels hanging on nails!! He told me, if I wanted more hangers he has a pocket full of them!!  We will likely be living like this for a few weeks, waiting now for plasterer, then plumber, then painter. I don't care, it will be nice when it is done.
We had an inch and a half of rain this am, and very welcome it was. Some hail out of town, one of our friends had hail but he said not too much damage.
I talked to Kate this afternoon. Kell is down there but can't stay too long, her medical insurance runs out. Kate said she is doing OK. Char, Mike and family have gone to Europe for a 3 week break. Kell was with them for 2 weeks before they left, then I think Stephen took her to Kates.
Have to go, I have a meeting I need to be at. Am doing Palliative Care with a 93 year old at the Lodge and have to keep up to date with what is happening.
Love to all. Blessings.  Mona
