Morning all. I have been here for at least an hour trying to get on the blog. I can read old letters, but have a time getting on to write. I did E mail Lyn the old pass word as soon as I read her note, but I know how busy she is, too, and worrying about Hannah wont help! And after all that, I really don't have a lot to say!!
We spend our days getting ready for Easter. Ourselves, church, services etc. I have to do the sermon on Easter Day, and spend a LOT of time trying to deal with that.
Must tell you! One of the clues in my crossword last week was 'writer Grey'...oh, yes!! Zane. Yesterday at Brandon having lunch, I looked up at a poster "Fly to Rangoon" Zane wrote "Shadows over Rangoon" . I sat and looked at it, and along the isle came Clan McIntosh !! Now none of you will remember Mac, but we knew him as kids. Of course it wasn't Mac, just a look alike, and after a while I realized why I thought of him, it was his BDay on 2 nd, and I always remember him. But I wondered if all this was a good omen, maybe a BIG lottery win coming my way so I can go home again SOON!!!! Ok, OK, so I'm a dreamer! But I can always hope.
Bill is out taking our Christmas lights down. He has raked up all the leaves...16 big bags full, and we did rake in the autumn, too!! I spent the afternoon doing some fancy sewing for the church, now I am ready to quit. It is nearly Happy Hour time.!
Kell has been down in Mexico, should be back now, I tried to call last night, but no answer. She may still be at Char's or Kate's. I'll give Kate a call later, I have some shopping I want her to do. Bill and I are giving me a nice little telescope for Christmas, and there will be a long waiting time for it, so order early!
