I have been thinking a lot lately about Mums youth and how things were for her and the Brothers and sisters growing up. Mums memory is not so great anymore and she used to ask Aunty June about things anyway.Aunty Junes memory was clear as day. Some things I wanted to get straight I thought I'd ask Uncle Steve in January, perhaps he'd remember. Stewert said he'd been in a lot of pain with the break from his fall, poor old Dear. I'm glad his suffering has ended at least.
Think I said it in my last post but I'll say it again anyway; I'll be glad when school hol's are here. I'm so fed up with the morning run. Feeling very tired.
The builder is putting the ceiling up in the hall (from where we had to pull the cupboards out to extend the bathroom) and into the bathroom.
Much work to be done.
Still have to knock out the two bathroom windows and wall between them to put in a large window. Also the toilet one to put in a matching window to the bathroom.
I was rummaging through one of the gravel filled drawers
when 'Buddy' here strolled out.
I showed the kids then pushed the drawer gently back into place, intending to catch and relocate him after I took the kids to school but Hokey kicked the drawer and I dare say that was why Buddy wasn't there when I got home. That was yesterday, I haven't looked for him yet today but will do so later. Mind you, if he/she is there then no doubt all the 'lations will be about also :o/
Best be going, too freaking cold to be sitting here. Feels like winter still. No, I was WARMER in winter!
Love to all xxxxx
