Anna Bay

Hello Aunty Kell,
Lovely to hear from you. I thought that I had been abandoned on here and that I was the last "man" standing so to speak.
Anyway its nice to check and see that some of the family are still on here.
I have just finished talking to Uncle Bill and Aunt Mona- as you can imagine its all a bit emotional and they are preparing for the flight home tomorrow. Not an easy task that is for sure. I know they had a wonderful time catching up with all those that they could in their short time here. It was wonderful to see them both and looking the picture of health too. Safe trip back Uncle Bill and Aunt Mona. I will have some of those quongdongs for you. So nice and red and NO grubs either. Thanks Peter and Brian Barton for those.
All is well here in the Bay, the town is a bit busy with the holiday crowd but not overly busy. The weather has turned for the worse so it is keeping everyone in doors.
Mum is well, no news to report there, she is still feeding the magpie and the dog, good company when no one else is about.
Marcus has landed at Kenny and Bernices for the night I believe, Jacob is not yet home from work. And I am about to go to bed and have a couple of hours sleep before I head back to the house of hell (not really)
Love to all
Meg

G'day all!
I,m just filling in time, while I wait for "my ride" to a Kiwis' home for a wee visit. We havn't been together for quite awhile, & since tonight was free, we decided to use it!!
Winter is beginning to show its' ugly face, & it is only September!! Mo will be the only one who is happy!!! I trust she is having a great time. Half her visit is over already!!
My car is still in Whitefish, so Charlotte is coming down tomorrow, to take me to Calgary for a few days.. 12 midnight: just home from an evening with a Kiwi & his Irish wife. Her brother & his wife were there, on a visit from Ireland. It was a great evening, with lots of "fun" stories!! I'm ready for bed, so "good night". Love to all. Kell

Great photos of my niece and nephew, you do such a good job Big Girl and one day they will appreciate it.
So pleased to hear that Uncle Steve came out on the positive side of his ordeal and is on the mend. Keep up the good work Aunty Marj. xxxxxx Thanks Jane and Lisa for keeping me posted on his progress. Messages were passed on to Mum straight away.
Mum is as well as can be expected, I took dinner around to her last night and we sat up watching TV as we ate. She is as skinny as a rake but keeps on keeping on. The boys are around there now visiting.
All is well as can be expected here in paradise. My boys are still job hunting and hopeful that the job in the mines will come through in a few weeks.........Mean while they are eating me out of house and home. Whats a mum to do??
I gave up smoking nearly 3 months ago now and feel pretty pleased with myself. I have another band around the belly that I am trying to combat and that is proving more difficult than the giving up smoking. Each morning after night shift I walk up Tomaree Mountain to get a good cardiac workout in order to battle with the bulge. Still cant move my little belly mountain. All in good time (Before summer I hope)
I was successful in getting my bronze medal in Rock and Roll dancing.. My first ever medal at my age!!!! Silly old thing. I was first up on the floor too which didn't make things any easier. I wont be lining up for silver next year that is for sure.
Rock and Roll is so social, my calander is always full, I just don't have time to work anymore. Peter and I have been asked to do a demo dance in October for the local radio station open day. Now I am feeling pretty darned good about that too.
Peter and I are off hiking the Glenreagh railway track near Dorrigo for the long weekend. I am rather looking forward to it as I have never actually hiked before. First thing in the kit is Hep Saline to get the leaches off, salt and a lighter.
School holidays are nearly upon us and we are in for a busy time at work I think, so all of you that have breaks during the holidays enjoy.
Aunt Mona and Uncle Bill are floating around the country side somewhere I believe, hopefully we will catch up soon.
I cant upload photos at this time as my computer is in dial up mode and is soooooooooo slow.
Next time.
Take care one and all
Meg
