What are the families thoughts on a cook book

I have been thinking for a long time about a family cook book. I want to make a book and have it print on demand through a company like blurb.com. There are a number of companies that do this, blurb is just one.  This way, only the ones ordered are paid for, not an entire print run. They can be ordered at any time once the book is finished, it stays live on the site for a long time.

The format would be members of the family send me their families favorite recipe/s with photos of the dish, family eating it and some sort of description. It could be a short sentence or an essay. 

If anyone has Nana Pates recipes that would be the icing on the cake ( I don't, but have fond memories of her salmon rissoles and stuff lambs flaps!). We could all cook the same recipe if we find one and photo/s of it and add that in as a separate chapter. 

The recipe could be any thing from sweets to mains to bbq to sandwich filling. What ever your particular family loves.  It would not be limited to one recipe per family.

Let me know your thoughts on this and please pass this on to other members you know that don't read the blog.
