Well Hello again Family,
I don't logon because I have no news to speak of, just rambling but if you're ok to listen to that Aunty then, brace yourself ;o)
It feels SO Frick'n cold here in Sydney. Coldest it's been all winter. Tony has just been to the servo to fill the gas tank for the heater.
On Friday one of our firewood men (Blokes who do tree lopping for work and just need to get 'rid of' their load bc the fee's at the waste disposal place are too high) came by with another good load of wood, some cut at a decent size too so could be thrown straight on the fire.
If it hadn't been for those little Asians working seven days and all hours it would have been an even colder winter for us :o/
I had planned to get on here and have a real yarn but I'm not feeling so good so might have to sign off and go back to bed for a while. My arm has been giving me curry this week and was particularly bad on Friday. I relented and took a pretty strong painkiller. A couple of hours later I'd forgotten that I'd taken the painkiller (hadn't had any relief) so took another. Bad move, VERY bad move. I started vomiting around 11 on Friday night and didn't stop until last night (Saturday). In-frick'n-sane! So tired and drained.
Aunty Kell I do hope someone is able to find your rings somewhere. Losing valuables is hard enough but sentimental ones is a real kick in the guts. It must be lovely where you live though, to have the dear come down so close to your home and so green.
I long to get back to a country way of life but I don't see it happening anytime soon. This place is so frig'n depressing but if we sell it we have to split the value with Tony's brother then we'd barely have enough to buy, let alone relocate to a decent place anywhere else. Such is life...
I saw on facebook that little Dexter had had his second lot of chemo, the first had left him very ill. So hard to see innocent little ones suffer so much.
Mark phoned the other night and we had a chat before handing over to Mum. He seems to be poking along ok over there and had attended a couple of Olympic events. I haven't watched much of it but I don't think they're having much of a summer over there either. One day t-shirts, the next heavy woolen coats.
Megs boys seem to be doing well out home in Bourke. They have plenty of friends and social life to boot.
Well, I have to sign off because I'm too bloody cold to sit and type anymore. Will post a photo from Angelina's birthday with their gifts.
Take care everyone. Lin, when you do get back on here, please post lots of your Canada pics, I do enjoy seeing them.
Ciao all,
Love me xxxxx
All Angry Birds. They're the only toys that they seem to keep playing with. I have another eight to get so that'll be Christmas taken care of, phew!

G'day all,
I don't think it is very long since I last "posted". However, I'm at the computer now, so thought I'd drop a quick note. I say "quick note", as there is absolutely NO NEWS!!!
It is a long week-end here, so nothing in town is open.
Lin is with Kate & Fam. in Whitefish. I havn't seen her, & probably wont, as family doesn't like me driving!!! I'm quite sure that they will not come here.
Steve was here for a few hours yesterday. They are all camping at Bouvis Lake, about 12 miles from here. (??? spelling. It is pronounced "Bovie".) It is a fabulous day, so everyone should be having a
really "fun" time. Steve has the camper, so they are "living in luxury!!! Hardly "camping", but that makes ALL campers feel better!! It is the way I would want to camp, if I absolutely HAD to camp!!!
Charlotte & Family are all home from their trip to Europe. Apparently, everyone had a fabulous time. Mike had been before, as it was his family they were visiting. It was a "first" for Charlotte
& the children. They had been to Mexico, but never Europe.
Town is VERY quiet. I forgot about the "holiday", so went to get the mail. Nothing there, then I
realized HOLIDAY time!!
I was just looking out my bedroom window, ( it is 6.35pm here, on Tuesday,) & saw 7 deer on the hill
side, about 75 yards from here!! They are regular visitors, as there is lots of grass, & no preditors. The
hill is a beautiful green at the moment. It is supposed to be summer, but so far, no REALLY hot days.
My body yearns for REALLY HOT!! However, it is daydreaming!!!
I was out at an Aussies' home a couple of days ago, & had a wonderful lamb dinner, complete with all
the trimmings. There were about 25 - 30 people there, only 6 Kiwis & Aussies. I took Aussie wine, which is the only "brand" of wine I buy!! It was a great evening.
I think I mentioned once before, that I lost my diamond rings at Kates' place. We never did find them & I feel sure a magpie got them, as there are SOOOOOOOO many magpies there. I did order replacements, but it wont be the same. Peter choose them himself, so that made them more special to me. I am so mad at myself for leaving them outside!! (On a fence post! ) And then I forgot they were there, so didn't check till the next day.
I wonder how everyone is doing?? It seems there is never any postings on the family blog, & it only takes a QUICK minute to post a small note. Please people, there isn't much use us having a Blog, if no one uses it!!
Mo & Bill very busy, as usual. It is gardeniong time here now too, so that adds a "little extra" to the days activities. I think Mo plants the Churches' garden too. As far as I know, the produce from the garden goes into the food baskets for the needy. ( And sometimes, the NOT so needy!!!)
I'm just prattling here, so will call it quits, & hope someone posts soon. So mamny family members, all with stories to tell, & they all go "untold"!!
We think of you all SO often. Someone, ANYONE, please post. Tale care. Love to all, Kelly
