Yes, I've used the "ong ails" excuse before Jane bu now I think its either a bug in my system or I've just banged too hard on my keyboard (or some straying child has)... it's driving me mental as I hate spelling errors even thoughI know my spelling has slacked off alot these days.
Hokey is singing away in te kitchen annoying the heck out of Tony. His latest tune is "Mr Boombastic" by Shaggy (black dude). He goes on and on and oooonnn!
I got Marc's dog Mia clipped today. I told him I was going to get it done and he freaked when he saw her but the poor little mutt desperately needed to be clipped. At least the dog feels clean and fresh.
I am getting on top of Tony's diabetes. We went to see the doc' last week and she rippe into him and told him "You HAVE to let her take care of you". It was what he needed so I've been on to him all week and making sure he does the right thing and would you believe it, he's feeling quite good! He is cooking dinner at the moment and is cooking onion. Doesn't matter how far away I am in the house, the fumes still get in my eyes. God bless him he's been out the back all day 'sorting' the shed, again! Brought mooore 'stuff' inside. He's doing pretty good so I'm happy about that.
Kids are well and wild as usual. They have been waking at a sparrows fart lately and it really knocks me up. It's a real test of wills to see who will get up to them first.
I have lots to talk about ut my concentration is ot on the ball and these errors with the keyboard or bug are annoying me too so I'll go now.
Ciao and love to all,
Sara xxxxx

Hello Every one, do you remember me?????????? No I haven't disappeared off the face of the earth. School holidays and I have time to indulge. I have missed being on the blog. I hate to say but I have been sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo busy because every one is so busy. BUT believe me and my family will tell you life has been hectic. Particularly work wise I have had a lot of responsibility this term. We are finally on holidays and these holidays we will all settle into study mode Sebastian has finally finished school however he only has his final Higher School Certificate which starts in exactly 3 weeks yesterday. All you prayer's get praying for him.
We have had some milestone events since i have last been on. Asha turned 21 on the 28th of August she didn't want the whole party all she wanted was to go to Melbourne with Patrick and I shopping eating, (a little drinking) and to see a show. We had a ball. Sebastian turned 18 on the 8th of September so my babies are becoming adults.
Mum and dad and all of my children were home on thursday as it was Sebastian's graduation mass. It was a wonderful day and we all had celebrations. The next day in class I was being quite terse and i said to the students "now I don't want any nonsense we are all tired and it is the end of term blah blah blah" one of the students very quietly up the front says "a big night miss" ( I ignored him but had a little chuckle, cheeky blighter).
I will sign off as I have still so much reading of the blog to do I started reading and thought I would be here until midnight so I will sign in Love and kisses to every one have missed every one I am back on air, Love Jane xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Peters' Family
Just a quick note to let Peter, Jessie, Lissa & Kelly know that we ( Mo & I ) are thinking of them
all today. Mo & Bill arrived yesterday. They have a multitude of chores to do today, while I work for Lions Club from 3pm to 8 pm. Visiting day tomorrow, meet Steve & Fam. on Sunday, down to Kates' on Monday. Home Tuesday, get ready for a Lions dinner that I am convening on Wed. They leave on Wed.
after that, "Walk in the dark" on 3rd., cancer gala on 16th. (I'm decorating an "Aussie" table for the Gala.) Then, I AM A FREE WOMAN for awhile!! (At least, that is how it looks now!) After that, we both should have time to happily "blog"!! Talk soon. MO & Kell

Lisa's Leisure time.....
Greetings one and all,
Last night before holidays, so, I am excited! Off to Sydney tomorrow afternoon, seeing Steven Burkoff tomorrow night at the York Theatre (Seymour Centre). We are staying in the city for the weekend, taking in shopping, dining, leisure and visiting the Opera House Bar. The best (but expensive) drinks in the city. You sit with the Opera House beside you, overlooking the harbour and the Bridge, awesome. Will probably visit it on Saturday afternoon sometime. Will stay the weekend . We then go and visit Ronny's dad for a few days. Should be great. Zappa will stay with friends out of town while we are away. We are preparing ourselves for the separation!!!!!!!!!!!!!Oo Oh, Ronny has not been at work for three days due to illness, and now I have all the symptoms, but hey, I am not going to be sick on my holidays!!!!!!!!
Ronny and I had our picture in the local paper on Monday. When the copy (photo) I ordered arrives, will post in on the blog. We were at the hockey Grand Final day. I had played earlier - and WON !! It was a great feeling to win after a long, great season. We had a good celebration on Saturday night!
Mum and Dad have gone to a Lodge Function tonight. Mum was so pleased - Dad is finally giving up the Secretary's job ( after many years stuck with it). She is still loving her new kitchen.
All well with the family, hope it is at your end.
Love Lisa

How weird
Hi Just quickly...Lisa and Belinda how cool we all must have been on the blog at the same time cheers...bernice xx
Grafton back in the Groove..
Greetings All,
I know - long time, no hear! Got back to Grafton last Saturday night after being away for nearly three weeks. Hit the ground running on my return and have not stopped. Desperately needing time with Ronny and Zappa, work was chaotic and I had a big theatre show on Thursday night. Made it through ok, and then played in my hockey final yesterday. Still loving being home with Ronny, trying to keep abreast of work, show went really well and we won our hockey final -Grand Final next saturday. To top it all off - holidays in two weeks, fantatic! Just have to make it through until then.
Much to tell, but will hold off until next time. Had a great visit with Belinda in Canberra, stayed the night with lots of laughs with Kenny and Berncie (always fun) but missed Sara twice. Never mind, next time.
Beer o'clock on the back deck now, so must rush.
Will try to be back on again soon.
Family here doing up our way - Mum's new kitchen is in and she is very pleased. Sebastian turned 18 last week, Jane still trying to cope with him going off to the pub!
love to all,
Lisa

My heart and pride just goes out to them they are just so amazing!!! I feel so small when i see them, don't you think?
On a brighter note, We had lisa here for a night a week ago was lovely to see her and catch up, time went to quick tho.

More of Mona's Musings.
Good morning all. Just a quick note to let you know that I am still around. We are going out for supper as soon as Bill gets out of the tub, and I want to try to phone June and Cec before I go.
Feeling weary, had a funeral to do this afternoon, and while it was not a sad one, it is emotionally draining and I will be glad to hit the hay tonight.
We are into autumn work. Still a lot of harvesting to do...we had so much rain....and the hum of combines can be heard most of the day. I want to go out to a friends field of wheat and cut a few small sheaves for the church decorations for Harvest Thanksgiving on 21st. Will do that on the way home after supper. We sat out on the deck and had a cold one when Bill came in from work...wasps everywhere and apples falling off the tree. Another job for the week end. Char's Josh loves apple sauce, so I dont let the apples waste. Made 8 qts. Christmas pudding yesterday (only 24 more to go, along with 32 pints.) and need a cup of grated apple in each batch, so that will take care of some of the wind falls. This is definately my last year doing puddings, though they are a great money maker for the church, but I found yesterday I couldn't lift the canner off the stove and had to just turn the heat off and let the pressure go down then unload it. So enough is enough. Bill is still working at the Complex, but I note in the agenda for the next meeting plans for the GRAND OPENING!!! It wont be finished, far from it, but we have to have a rink for our hockey team...won the championship last season didn't we ????? So the rink will open along, I think with the kitchen, the rest will be on hold.
Haven't talked to Kell for a day or two. She has her friend from Masonic days there, so I wont call till she has gone. We hope to leave here on 24th and visit for about a week. I have to start putting stuff aside to take. (Bill and Peter get mad because we are always taking stuff back and forth....too bad. Great energy waster, anger !) Best go. Hope all are well. Love to all. Moe.

Canberra Calling, it's Spring!
Hi all
Well not much to report, same old same old. I have been working full time and doing a little weaving so between walking the dogs and working I am home most of the time . Soo oo boring Huh?
Hannah is home from Thailand and had a fabulous time, I will get her to post a few photos later.
Lauren went of to work this morning at 5am and is not the quietest of morning people. But she is still enjoying her job but not so much the shift work.
The weather is warming up a bit so its nice to go walking and we can even leave the doors open for a little fresh air in the afternoons, Lisa come back it's not so cold now.
We its is Saturday and I don't usually work on Saturdays but I am filling in at the Chemist so must go and get ready.
Meg give me a call are we going to Brissie or not?
I am looking forward to the Long weekend I am going to Bourke but not sure about the girls.
Love to all Lin

What abeautiful post Aunty Kell, not "prattling" at all, it's all news and great photo's too. All the hildren are beautiful. I have turned the computer on a number of times over the past however long it's been since I logged on but have not had the chance to actually sit down at it so it just gets logged off of an evening. Speaking of 'evenings', its 8:11pm and Master Giancarlo is stil up so I'd best leave my seat and send him to bed. It's Friday night, a few more minutes won't hurt...
Aunty Kell, Tony has put the rame and walls up of the shed extention but is yet to put a roof on it. It seem we won't be building Marc his 'granny' flat because he doesn't want to pay for it. He wantsus to pay for al materials and Tony to build it and whilest you're trying to fathom that I'll just say "it aint easy bein' green" - Kermit the Frog... Actually it's, well, quite undescribable. Mum's here at the moment and has been since last Wedneday and bless her soul she is such a God send. She will not rest, no matter how cross I get with her. She has ALL my washing caught up to date and for that alone I am truely greatful. My cleaning lady wa lost for things to do today, she changed our beds (not Marcs of course), vacuumed, mopped then hung a load of washing mum had just finished then finished up. We were at the solicitors sorting out the Will, Deeds etc. Peter (solicitor) is coming around on Sunday to explain everything to Marc, it's a legality and Marc would not be able to handle going to the city to sort it out. Lucky Tony's a good friend of hs family that he will do that for us. It's a loooonngg road and we'll be travelling it for the rest of our days...
We are going out for Jesse's birthday. Bernice says there are a lot of family going so it will be a great weekend. Yes Aunty, the weatherhad a complete change on the first day of Sring. All of a sudden the days were in the 20's Just as well I guess, we've run out of gidgee andTony's resorted to the furniture again!
Kids are well. Mum says Hokey has a dreadful cough of a night but I'm dead to the world and don't hear a thing. Since birth he's been a 'snotty' child and I'd like his adenoids out but my doc' reckons he's too old for it now. I think I'll go to another doctor for the kids because h definately needs something done. His cough is 'slimey throat' like when you get a cold. Aweful feeling. He's in bed now, tried to talk his way out of it but I put the foot down, my good one!
I receivd a post card from Mark also, Italy sounds gorgeous. I think there might have been a twang of envy from Tony and I feel it too. Mark is so forunate to be living over there so close to all of Europe. His work takes him worldwide and he saves o take his family to beauiful historic places and enjoy life. Good on him I reckon.
If my typing is misspelt or missig letters it's because there seems to be something wong with my keyboard (likely excuse)...
There is plenty to tell but it's mostly whinging so I won't go there. We did a council cleanup soTony (singular!) put a heap of rubbish out the front and the back looks a lot better now. How that man gets up on his feet every day has me beat. He finished a conversionon Tuesday which took 5 days when it should have only taken 2. He was furious when he realised the problem, something very simple because his mind has been too full of all the other stuff ging on around here. He cancelled all othr bookings and won't take anymore probably until after we cme back from Bourke.
I do hope Aunt Mona is handling the lott ok. It must be very hard for her as she is so involved with so much that is going on in her community. You both are Aunty Kell, it beats me how you both do it...
Ok, I'm all out. Hope all are well and happy. Do take care,
Love Sara xxxx

September 04, 2008
Dear family,It has been awhile since I checked in, so thought I'd best get busy, otherwise I can't complain that no one else is blogging. Steve came down so Peter wouldn't be alone when I was in hosp. Not a good
picture of him, so will try & send a better one later.
Sara, how is the building coming along?? I do hope it has been started, & you can begin living your life again. Don't know how you put up with a permanent guest in the house.
My friend Margaret Harris arrives on Sat., so I'm getting a bit excited!
She is "doing" Alaska at the moment, then a few days on Van. Island, then flies out here. I just
pray that winter will stay at bay till she leaves, as I want decent weather to show her around.
We will spend Sat. night in Calgary to meet Charlotte & fam., & Steve & fam. Then we will go to the Dinosaur museum in Drumheller, (about 1 1/2 hour drive east of Calgary.) Home via the Brooks Badlands, then we will check out all our local attractions, & go to Kates. We only have
a week, & lots to see, so no time for wasting. I have planned a dinner for the 12th, to meet our motley crew of friends. I have invited 18, so we will have to use the entertainment room here, as my wee house won't accommodate that many at the table.
Bernice, I did notice your tremendous talent, when you "fixed" the photo, & put Liz in it. I thought you were terribly clever. Also, the beautiful stamps on the DVD were noticed first!
(And saved.) Australia has the best of all the stamps. The U.S. has the worst. Canada isn't bad, but puts out a lot of dull ones. Cec saves her stamps for me, & has her friends save theirs too.
I missed all the August celebrations, sorry. Rowans' birthday, Marj & Steves' anniversary. Lauren Anstey,Trish Payton, (I did get to ring Trish & Bob.) Asha, Rodney , Oskar, & Patrick & Janes' anniversary. Belated "Happies" to you all. August wasn't a good month.
I have to reiterate what everyone else has said about Oskar. What a gorgeous little man he is,
& ALMOST shared his dads' birthday. Too bad for Cec & Ray, to live so far away.
No one has mentioned the Olympics, & how Oz. did?? Needless to say, our papers don't give other countries coverage, & the Aust. web sites were not exactly full of news. The scandals took
up most of their air time. I'm hoping that ABC has a DVD or some such. Lyn is going to check it out for us. We didn't get a lot of sleep time, because of the time difference. Even then, just events with Canadians were broadcast. The opening & closing ceremonies were very extravagant, but far too long for me. I felt it a bit too, too!!
Families are all well. Steve is a bit "lost", as Grayson has started "big school", & Steve isn't quite ready for that! They just returned from a 10 day holiday in B.C., the day before school went back. Charlotte & crew also in B.C. for 2 weeks, home a few days earlier. Kate & family had a boat trip in June, the boys had a trip to Boston. Otherwise, their time was spent kayaking & hiking. Kate & Doug are avid hikers, & have done nine mountains this year. Makes me tremble just to look at the trails they have taken. They also do a lot of family hiking. You want firm legs?? Go mountain hiking regularly. Drew & Dan still golfing, Dan with the State team. Both quite good. Hockey will soon start, so they will be happy campers with that.
I am wondering how the 21st celebration is shaping up? Who is going? Where will it be held?
I trust Jess has everything under control. With a bit of luck it will be warming up now, so no one will have to freeze if a B.B.Q is planned. (What better way to celebrate a 21st??)
We were glad to hear that Tom is feeling better, ('phone calls to Sara.), as we are all too old to have to put up with the complications of pneumonnia. She sounded good on the 'phone last week. I havn't talked to Mrs. Junie for awhile, so must do that soon.
No news, & I'm prattling as usual. Mo probably wont be on the blog for a wee while. One of her "constant" patients, & past friends of ours, (when we lived in Crystal City,) died yesterday. Mo has been the family back bone for a few years. The four boys all live quite far away, & the husband is over 90. She may even be asked to do the funeral, although they are not Church of England, but Uniting Church. Verna has been dying for a long time, but when the time comes, it is hard, & the family rely so heavily on Mo. She has always been there for them & will be now.
We do look forward to your postings, so please busy yourselves, & stop being selfish with your time!! Love to all. Kell

A bit early to be trying to drive this Im afraid. Greg went off on the Harley to Condobolin for a mates 40th on the weekend. He isnt back yet so I don't know how the bush bash went. Marcus went to Newcastle on Friday after school with mate and stayed in the "penis" appartments on Friday night with his mate and his family. They watched some concert on the waterfront had tea walked out to the light house etc. Saturday night they went to the footy and watched the Knights win. Did the skatepark thing as well. Sounds as though he had a great time. Mums getting over her bout of pneumonia. Has her car back and spit polished clean so should be happy about that. I resigned from my community job and have a week left with them. Ive been working at Toronto Private Hospital as a casual and doing 5 shifts/week just about. I stay over at Aunty Dots, Dads sister when I get a run of shifts together. Its a good job, not where I want to be but it brings in the money. Nice sunny day here today and I might just go and shout myself lunch after I see the couple of clients that I have this morning. Garry is still flat out at the butchers working jsut about 7 days a week, he has had it and the shop is up for sale, he has had a couple of interested lookers but nothing too promising. Economy being in the state that it is I dont think that it will sell in a hurry. One can only hope. take care Meg
